Oh, yh you're right, i thought they won the PL in the 90's, got mixed up with Blackburn. They won the Intertoto Cup in 06 but that isn't worth shouting about tbh.
Newcastle slipped up big time when they had that run in with United, i think they were like 12 points clear at one stage.

Yep, doesn't even count as a major competition, that was the season with Kevin Keegan's speech I think, poor Newcastle fans. At least you had Shearer, would've loved him at utd

Same i would have loved him at United too, i think we put a bid in for him when he was leaving Blackburn but he preferred Newcastle lol Imagine York, Cole and Shearer in a front 3, f---ing deadly m8.

Yeah that's right,
Deffo, Cole, Cantona, York, Sheringham, Olle Sojskaer, Nistelrooy.. some great names bro. Same in every position though tbh.. Beckham, Sharpe, Keane, Ince, Scholes, Stam, Pallister, Irwin, Bruce, Neville Brothers, Poborsky, Kanchelskis, Robson, d--- the list goes on and on. We were so dominant in the 90's and early to mid 2000's.

Yh it's painful to watch United play atm, tbh m8 i haven't been watching as often as what i used to, the football is just so boring and basic. Thing is though you could actually blame Fergie to some degree for what's happening to us now. He knew most of the players were average and that some were close to retiring, he should have built and added more depth for when he retired, he must have known he was retiring for a couple of years if not a little bit longer.
