    Honestly back in the day I liked barcelona. As an ajax fan I should love them since they are so close. Suarez is also a GOAT player (came from ajax ofc).

    I simply just prefer madrid over them because I have a weak for clubs that people consider 'arrogant'. Same goes for chelsea. I like the confidence

    I started to support them when I was 5 years old (I was and still am big fan of Roberto Carlos), because of my dad and it stayed with me till today. Also my love for it grew stronger with time and hate from supporters of other clubs. I have nothing against Barca or Cules, but I don't like their hypocrisy when it comes to certain things. At the end of the day, they are just rivals and I treat them as such. Nothing less, nothing more.

    As for Suarez I was rooting for him to join Real, but it was pretty obvious he will join Barca based on his previous statements. I still am big fan of his talent and I also like him, because some people label him arrogant (same goes for Cristiano).

    Yeah its not barcelona I hate. But some fans are more concerned with their hatred for madrid than their love for barcelona. I don't see madrid fans giving a f--- about barcelona (the other way around).

    Barcelona is a beautiful club with a great history. Just not as good as madrid :lol6:

    I guess it's years of Madrid being more succesful, but I don't see why these new fans need to act this way, when they weren't born/Barca fans at the time.

    Yeah, I guess. It's always like that in any league in the world. It happens in our Polish Premier League too. Everyone in Poland hates Legia.

    Gladly its the 2nd match so after it we're either to the next round or out. If it was the first out of 2 I'm not sure I would have went.

    I went few times to a league matches with my then girlfriend. It was 2012/2013 season. I was planning to buy tickets for CL this season, but I didn't do it, because I knew Ultras will do us a favor and we will play without the fans at least once. Also I have pretty busy semester at my University so sadly I couldn't be there. I'm planning to go with my mate to Real Madrid - Atletico in April. We will see how it's going to unfold. At the time I saw Real only once in my lifetime, when they played friendly against Fiorentina in Warsaw.

    One thing I must say maybe our clubs aren't from the top, but our fans are. The atmosphere at Polish stadiums is superb. There is nothing like it. Sure our Ultras aren't the most brilliant people from time to time and do stupid things, but when it comes to supporting their club they are great.

    @Michael Myers I can't lie I somewhat root for PSV every year since we have had a lot of Mexican footballers play there (former guys like Salcido & Maza Rodriguez played for my favorite Mexican club Chivas). Still it never ceases to amaze me how Ajax practically invented modern football in the 70s.

    Like the homie @Guma Im a life-long Merengue, my dad supported them in the 80s when Hugo Sanchez was playing for them. So naturally I've been watching them before I even started going to school, as time went on my love for the club grew--it's almost surreal that my biggest footballing idol is the manager of the team now.

    My dad was big Raul fan at the time, in television there was no polish league only CL from time to time and Real was pretty much dominating CL at the time. As a young boy I didn't understand that they were successful I only started to like them, because of their white and black kits and I fell in "love" with Brazilian players (mostly Roberto Carlos as I stated before).

    I get what u are saying, if a lot of people from your country play there u feel more connected. Psv and their fans still s--- though :scaryem:

    Also yeah Zidane is a legend. He's doing great there now.

    @Guma thats nice man! I have to work a lot during the weekends so I try to go to Amsterdam once or sometimes twice a month. Video is awesome btw!

    That's pretty surprising for me, but nobody would be worse than Benitez tbh. I guess it will have a lot to do with respect towards Zidane, because at this stage they don't need to learn how to play football, etc. They need someone to push them in right direction and create team spirit among the group.
