    @Michael Myers I remember when Wesley Sneijder joined Real Madrid. I was so excited, so excited that when I started playing this popular online game called Runescape around that time in 2007, I created my username as "Sneijder 23" (his Jersey number). And still to this day it's my log in username.

    Maybe before i started watching barca 2010, but since then, barca has Ruled spanish football with an iron fist. Champions league wise Madrid has won 2 since then but the last one was phenomenal bottling by the superior side.


    Hatred of Madrid is a part of Barcelona culture . It goes back to the feud between catalonia and spain. It's more political than you think.


    Most people hate them because they represent the aristocracy which has a type of arrogance that really can't be considered 'confidence'. Most of Madrid fans like to boast about the 11 'champions league' wins, without conceding that the first 5 and were won in an era where Madrid were essentially the Spanish Bayern due to their financial advantage in Spain and Europe (them being the aristocrats). Or the 11-1 loss where the Spanish dictator at the time threatened the players before the match in order to demoralize the catalans fighting for independence.

    I personally dislike madrid as a brand because they represent aristocracy.
    And i dislike Madrid fans because half of them are defective Man U fans who love putting ronaldo above the team. And CR7 is VERY overrated.

    I am a fan of most Madrid players like Modric and Marcelo (even pepe has been pretty good last year) , but when Ramos , Modric, Kross, Bale, Marcelo and Pepe etc have one of the best years in their career, and the spotlight and almost all of the credit is thrown onto some arrogant , penalty taking underwear merchant , i'm surprised Madrid players aren't furious that the quality of their team is being undermined by this overrated individualist who gets the benefit of playing in that team.

    I had Barca cruising through this but it's still apparent their midfield is still very inexistant and Sergi is a liability in that fullback position.

    More credit to PSG's press resistant midfield duo of Rabiot & Verratti drifting through the lines like ghosts and maintaining their shape. Matuidi does a brilliant job of hounding whoever has possession. Needless to say Draxler & Di Maria have been inspired today, just as I'm typing this Paris scored the 3rd...

    Tomorrow's gonna be a b----, Napoli is really in-form right now with those 3 tiny men up front. Need to get a good result.

    Bayern vs Arsenal could either go 2 ways; classic Gunners meltdown and conceding multiple goals only to nearly manage it in the return leg or it will be a tight game. I'm expecting the former tbh
