Needless to say Real Madrid got a taste of their own medicine as they're their own enemy for all these mistakes they've made and chances they wasted. They could have easily avoided losing or even losing in the final moments, because Barcelona are still the same average team that played against Juventus. It was one h--- of a match. One of the best clasicos imo over the last years. It was intense and entertaining that I got exhausted from watching the match. Anyway as Zidane said before the match, this match wasn't going be the league decider yet regardless. Yep it hurts to be honest. I wanted James to have his moment for that goal, because he deserved to and I was happy for him. That's football. Not every time things will go your way. Congratulations to Barcelona.

I actually was pretty sad after what happened in that particular match, but when I calmly watched all these situations again it became clear to me as @Fire Squad said referee made bad calls for both teams and they were crucial

1. Vidal should have been sent off earlier:

4. Vidal touched Asensio's foot so practically it was a foul, but I wouldn't have sent him off for this (he should have received a red card much earlier):

5. Ronaldo scored 2 goals from the offside position (second one was hard to see so for this one I wouldn't blame referee)
6. Also people argue if Robben's penalty was rightfully given and if there was a penalty on Casemiro. My answer is yes and no, but both these situations were tricky. So they could have went either way.
7. Let's not forget about a penalty given to Bayern, which was a bad call.

As for today's match, it was pretty entertaining. It could have went either way. We should have score second goal, when we had our chances and shouldn't have go for the third goal after scoring the second one. Barca exploited our mistakes and that's why they won it even though we were better side most of the time. Nobody said that Cristiano is better than Messi lol. Messi is a MOTM and rightfully so.

As for people talking about offsides that weren't given in this match:


VAR should be implemented asap. I said it after the match against Bayern and I'm saying it today and I'm not talking about it, because I think we lost today, because of the referee. No, we lost, because we didn't score when we had our chances. That's all.

Both sides made many mistakes, the difference is messi .

Stop you there, we scored 3 goals against you. two from direct attacking play, one from a counter where YOU were trying to press for the win. You thought you could win and lost because of it. You aren't in a position to call us average, you haven't proved yourself as good a team as Juventus.

Agreed, pressing for the win was too reckless on your part. It would have likely fizzled out to a draw if you played conservatively (which barca fans can accept given the horrible form), and that's a practically won league title already, but now it's open :P.

Yeah, but now you understand how it feels when a team performance is undermined because call's went their way.

Game was too open to complain about those too much. The ref was mostly spot on and he wanted to avoid showing too much cards which is why Casemiro wasn't sent off, but Ramos kinda forced his hand there, that's a career ending tackle and he should serve a ban for that.
