tactical masterclass that's what was wrong with them. You have a great young team, tho

League Cup, Europa League (, Community Shield) and CL next season. United is in recovery. Also, welcome to United Anto Griezmann :rejoice:

United will be back to winning ways. Last nights game was one of the biggest in our History.

We got an amazing chance for the BPL next year tbh, Jose always wins it in his 2nd year :mynig2:

Atm i agree. United will spend big amounts of money again this year, and if they manage to sign the right players, they'll be back to winning the lge.

We already marked Chelsea's biggest players out of the game, whilst they were killing other teams off. Ajax found out what the next level is like when they played UTD... They'd struggle to finish mid table in the prem. Sanches looked decent, still.

But who cares, who's going to discuss that next year? Winning is all that matters.

Nobody but the statement you made had nothing to do with that video. Ajax played attractive football against Lyon, Celta De Vigo, Schalke, Legia and Kopenhagen. They earned their respect in Europe again. The fact that they lost against boring Manchester is sad but doesn't change the fact that they were THE positive and interesting surprise of this european season.

They won against Ajax where the whole team was worth just as much as one player from United, if any team deserves credit its not united

Next level? United didn't play that well. We just didn't have a plan B. Played too much through the middle and didn't change any tactics. It was our own fault. United's tactic did what? We lost the ball with a simple throw in which caused the first, deflected goal. The second goal was whatever. So none of that was a result from United's "next level" qualities. I'm not gonna say you won undeserved, but don't call this a "next level" game lol.

Jose set up for united to cramp the midfield/defence areas and Ajax couldn't do anything to break them down. So many back/side passes, they couldn't penetrate for s---, I'd say, a long with many others, the tactics were spot on considering the current crop of players than United have. Jose is probably the best defensive coach in the game atm, he got everything right in a defensive aspect of the game... Next level because Ajax had no idea how to penetrate or find enough space to create a decent opportunity. It was Men vs Boys tbh
It makes boring football, and that's something that has to be fixed... But who cares, we won, and that's all that matters.

When tf did i say that it was a "next level game" i basically said that they faced a team that was on a different level as to what Ajax are lol.

Bosz held onto his own ideology for too long. He should've known better too knowing Mourinho. Even Mourinho said he knew we'd play better football than them and that's why he opted for the tactic he chose. Like I said it wasn't undeserved but I don't feel like anything about this game or United specifically was next level. Our best player on the pitch was a 17 year old kid so that says enough. Sanchez didn't do anything wrong defensively but he was very weak in his passing and offensive play. Traore was the most active attacker and he just did the same thing over and over. Midfield was almost non-existant and Dolberg didn't stand a chance between Smalling and Blind.

I think Mourinho outclassed Bosz and I think Bosz was too naive. But I'm excited for next year since this was his first year with this (very) young team that went through a lot of adjustments early in the season. So hopefully the naivety disappears within the whole team and hopefully they'll come up with a plan B and even C cause United did show how to neutralise them.

We signed Bernardo Silva, with Walker and Mendy coming for medicals soon. Navas and Clichy are gone. Amazing summer so far and it hasn't even begun :jr:

Hopefully Ajax will keep hold of the higher potential players so they can build on this years momentum and gain some success in the coming year because that will help inrease their build massively. I ssaw that Jose was talking to one of your players after the game, I can't remember if it was Sanchez or De Ligt. Those guys would wbe good future signings in a year or two.

It was Justin Kluivert. He didn't play but he probably knows of him cause between 2000-2002 he worked with Patrick Kluivert at Barcelona.

Haha d--- I thought it was either sanchez or de list. I was kind of distracted tho tbf. Is Kluivert good enough for the PL? Jose was probably just asking about his Father or something tbh.
