    That golden generation was incredible, all of those guys played in the best clubs in the world and well Ajax 95' grads lol. To this day no footballer has ever reached the levels of swag Edgar Davids had :rejoice: The Euros 2000 was another chance, granted that was Europe during a super competitive era

    What a time to be.... 3 years old lmao. I really wish I was like older when that CL title hapened. Last year I finally witnessed an European Final even tho we lost against ManU. Was a great season regardless.

    As far as the dutch team go, we were great then and also few years back. But now all the goat players quit and we're stuck with young players a lot who don't even play outside of the dutch league (which sucks) and when they do they are mostly substitutes.

    W Robben, vd Vaart, Kuijt, V Bronckhorst, Sneijder, v Persie etc etc we were a LOT better

    I loved how 90s those two European cup finals were; Juve-Real & United-Ajax, good to see Ajax back in a final regardless

    I seen people call it an identity crisis but football goes through cycles and right now the current crop is somewhat struggling but there are signs that the team has been picking it up lately; Memphis is brilliant at Lyon, Baby Kluivert looks like a star in the making and more. I saw it more as a failure to adapt post Van Gaal who managed to squeeze the last of that older crop's juice in 2014, slowly but surely we'll see you guys competitive again, when is the Eredivisie not producing talent?

    Truth about van Gaal really getting the most out of that group, he did a gr8 job!

    Yeah eredivisie lots of talent but not ready enough to play w the big boys yet. Depay is indeed doing good rn but in the Dutch team not so much.

    I've seen Kluivert play this season but rn he's overrated af. He played well last week because Younes was injured (and also sucks lol) but he is not consistent yet. Obviously he's talented af and I really hope he will show it in big matches too.. not just against the number 18.

    It's a grooming process for sure sooner or later he'll get used to the weekly expectations, from the eye test I rate him highly since there's just that intangible "it" factor but I'll take your word for it since you see him every week.

    Thoughts on the insane Schalke-Dortmund derby the other day? When I saw the 4 goal lead I thought it was over, but then 2 goals came in and I recorded the remainder since Real was about to play...Went back to watch it and what a f---ing ending! Brilliant game and BvB's season is just going from bad to worse jesus.

    We have a good group but in typical english fashion we will struggle through with at least 1 bore draw, then lose disapointingly against Senegal in the last 16

    Once again, Barca dropping points because refs are incapable of making accurate calls. Suarez scored a goal in the first half that was clearly onside. This is just getting ridiculous. It’s to the point where I think the league is doing this s--- on purpose because they didn’t want Barca to put the league away early.

    This Arsenal-United game been lit, heroic goalkeeping from DDG and some really ruthless counterattacks. Pogba is a fool, he would have been the key to the Manchester Derby.

    Massive game in Scottish football today between Aberdeen and The Rangers. Hopefully Aberdeen will get all 3 points but will be tough.

    What's more f----- about the situation is that our manager (Derek McInnes) looks to be going to our biggest rivals Rangers on Monday in an already arranged deal. Would be raging if AFC let this happen.
