    Fair point, however, I do think that some other reasons that contributed to RM going this way is or are some players probably lack the motivation after winning all those trophies (in the past 2 consecutive seasons/years or even last 4 years), they're humans in the end and they are not perfect and thus they're not performing that well after all, clearly their level has dropped, for players such as Marcelo, Carvajal, Modric, Kroos and even CR7, another main reason is I think some players are trying to be cautious and play with minimum effort so they can save themselves for the world cup (and not just in RM).& Zizo will go down in history of football (as a manager as well obviously) and not just RM history, regardless. But oh well, no team is invincible. They'll be back sooner or later.

    Oh com’on.... this is the saddest excuse yet. “They’re not winning because they’re not trying & they’re not motivated.” Give me a break... they’re professional athletes. That drive for success doesn’t all of a sudden go away because of their recent trophies. They just aren’t playing good, period. Has nothing to do with the World Cup or a lack motivation.

    I'm just optimistic that he is too fragile to play competitive football on the highest level now. He needs to pack mass and toughen up. Hopefully next season will be better for him.
