    Indeed, because Inter have been playing an incredible football and Seville are the masters of UEFA/Europa League Cup. They played 5 finals and won all of them.

    2006 4-0 vs Middlesbrough
    2007 2-2 vs Espanyol (3-1 after penalties)
    2014 0-0 vs Benfica (4-2 after penalties)
    2015 3-2 vs Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk
    2016 3-1 vs Liverpool

    Inter on the other side have won the competition 3 times and lost once.

    1991     vs As Roma 2-0 at home and they lost 1-0 in Rome
    1994 vs Austria Salzburg after winning 1-0 twice
    1998 vs Lazio Roma 3-0

    They came runner up in 1997 vs Schalke after losing in Germany 1-0, they managed to win on Giuseppe Meazza with the same score but they lost 4-1 at penalties.
    *note 1998 when Inter won against Lazio was the first year that the final was not played home and away.

    Sevilla has the most trophies(5) in this competition and right behind them with 3 each are Liverpool, Juventus, Inter and Atletico Madrid so with a win on Friday Inter can secure their 2nd place with 4 tittles.

    Poor Leipzig. They were good against Atleti but Paris is a little too strong for them. Also they make a lot of mistakes themselves.

    I guess Bayern - Paris it is.

    That and Internazionale v Sevilla, nice.

    That was...ugly for Red Bull

    I’ve said it multiple times already, but no defense can stop Neymar & Mbappe. Those two & Di Maria make low-percentage plays look routine, even with a makeshift midfield it’s a dangerous risk trying to press PSG, even without Verratti (big warning sign if Bayern tries pulling that crap). Red Bull’s counters would look a lot better with, I don’t know, maybe a very fast world-class German goalscorer? Atletico made this team look a lot better than what they were, but credit to Nagelsmann for even having them play the way they did, it’s a very young team that’s gonna be an attractive destination for more former Salzburg players & other young stars.

    He does everything right except that. I know a striker is judged by finishing chances (and I agree) but based on how he plays he deserves a goal

    I really don’t know about that team, feels like the horrendous defense Chelsea & Barca played against them inflated people’s perception. I’ve mentioned this before too, they’ve allowed too many shots for my liking and I have zero faith in their defense vs this offense. I could be totally wrong when the final comes of course, but just my 2 cents

    Oh yeah I get what ur saying.

    Messi is a lazy f--- and when he doesn't have his moments of brilliance he is useless and doesn't do s--- / loses the ball all the time. And barcelona is done, this team at least.

    Mbappe and neymar are both very motivated rn and PSG obviously is gonna be 100% focussed on finally winning the CL. So yeah. But I still think if Bayern gives everything they are the better team.


    Also thoughts on Suàrez returning to Ajax?

    I’d love to see the prodigal son return back there. Barca need to cut the fat, although he’s Leo’s butt-buddy so idk he’ll allow Barca to sell him at all. But it’d be a real coup for Ajax IF it ever were to happen, he’d be a great experienced presence for the next inevitable gen of stars

    I mean I just saw the official protocol on uefa.com and this is the only thing mentioned about this matter " Shirt-swapping - Players are recommended to refrain from swapping their shirts."
    I think since it's only recommended and not mandatory he'll be okay with a warning or something.
