    It never happened, but I have seen Shakhtar fall with Man city for two or three consecutive seasons lol.
    Mbappe's deal is 99% done. Official announcement is all that remains which will be either tomorrow or Sunday.

    you obviously wouldn’t agree since you’re a United fan.

    In the fact that Messi is still in his prime and only ever played for Barcelona. Ronaldo already moved to Juve and Madrid which lessens the impact. Obviously still huge.

    I am a United fan, but I think Messi is far the superior footballer. Always have. Messi’s might be more surprising because everyone thought he’d be a one club man, and the manner he left the club was pretty sour.

    Yeah of course Messi’s is still huge - although he’s not in his prime. But United are much the bigger club compared to PSG. Ronaldo is the most followed person ever on social media; the biggest global marketing superstar football has ever seen, and he’s returning to the club where it all started - who are the top 3 biggest clubs worldwide. That combination makes it the biggest.

    Not to mention United’s Twitter announcement surpassed Messi’s in less than an hour & is currently on 1.2 million likes right now. s--- is huge. He’s been rumoured to return every year since he’s left. Crazy stuff him actually being back at Old Trafford.

    It 100% was. This is a regular transfer of a player that changed clubs in the past. Messi only played for Barcelona and Ronaldo transfer doesn't even come close to the impact Messi's transfer had.

    I don't even get the hype for both of these transfers to be honest, both are at the end of their career. Is only good for marketing. Both teams could have used the money to invest in much more better players at this moment for the future if we're talking strictly football wise.

    I mean buying someone like Mbappe, Chiesa or Haaland at this moment is 100% better for the future of your team then buying both Ronaldo and Messi .

    But yeah we live in a world where transfers that are made for the purpose of selling shirts is better for a team then to buy great young players.

    Depends how you define biggest, but in most of the metrics Ronaldo’s tops it. A more marketable player going to a bigger club = bigger transfer

    But yeah, honestly, emotions aside, we needed a DM much more lol. But I don’t really care. We’re STACKED with attackers now. And we’ve just added Ronaldo who averaged nearly a G/A every game for Juventus in ~130 appearances, with quite poor service. He’s going to feast off Pogba, Sancho & Bruno’s creativity.

    Not to mention the winning mentality of having him train with our youngsters & having him in our dressing room. It’s a crazy good deal from all aspects.

    Ronaldo was £12m lol. Mbappe has his heart set on Madrid for £180m. Haaland was always for next year with his release clause. We’ll be in for him when we get rid of Cavani. We don’t need Chiesa — just bought Sancho

    United fans are delusional

    You couldn't bought Chiesa cause If I remember correctly Juventus rejected 100mil offers from Liverpool and Bayern for Chiesa. He is better then Sancho, I'll even say way better like no comparison in my eyes and I've seen both of them play. Chiesa is world class, Sancho is not. That doesn't mean he is not good. Sancho at united is at least 20x better transfer for united as a football team then Ronaldo's.

    I was talking about buying a good player for the future of your team vs buying someone just to sell you shirts and play for 1 year or 2 left.

    Like Donnarumma or Hakimi are 10x better transfer for PSG then Messin if we're talking about football and not marketing.
