Depends here. If we're talking marketing and selling boxers and socks to make huge profit, yeah biggest transfer they made recently.

If we're talking football I can name you 10 transfers United have made in the past 10 years that are way better then Ronaldo's transfer and same goes with Messi's transfer at PSG.

Yeah but it’s not an issue because we’ve done both. If Ronaldo was our main forward target then yeah, but it was an opportunistic signing we couldn’t turn down.

Yeah I agree — hence I said we needed a DM more. Signing Rice would be far more beneficial for us but Ronaldo is still obviously a bigger signing lol

Why wouldn’t we be gassed at getting the second best footballer to ever exist? Lighten up mate. You sound mad. This is what football is about. I’ve suffered enough watching us over the years lol.

Yeah I know that what I was talking about also. Both teams made a big transfer and act like they made a good one for their teams.

Nothing will change, PSG will not win Champions League. There are 5 teams that I can name you now that still will eliminate them in a 2 match leg with no problems, United are still not winning Premier League cause Ronaldo joined or nothing will change drastically for them as a team just cause a 37y old player just signed.

But let's put all this aside, if I'd were a united fan, this will probably be a happy day for me.

Both are very good signings for a multitude of reasons. Objectively you cannot say they aren’t good signings — unless they displaced the signing of other players (which they didn’t). We have a 34 year old Cavani, a young Greenwood & Martial. Ronaldo walks right into that number 9 spot on footballing merit — not just because of his marketability. Sancho LW, Ronaldo ST, Greenwood RW. At least until Rashford is back.

Yeah don’t even get me started on that lol

Adding Varane and Ronaldo to this team should inspire a lot of players in the changing room. They’ve won it all. It’s been rare recently to have anyone of that stature at our club

    Biggest signing ≠ best signing

Best signing would be something like Ronaldo’s first transfer to us for £15m. You don’t get much better value for money than that for one of the GOAT’s. But it’s not bigger than this one now.

Oh yeah, look I completely forgot about this aspect. Having someone like Ronaldo in the locker room can bring something out from a player that he can never give before so yeah you're right.

Not a Manchester United fan bro, but I grew up and watching classic teams like United or Milan dominating football and I hope they'll be back to where they belong. But money took over and now if you don't pump hundreds of millions into players you can't compete which is very sad.

We can never have a Monaco - Porto champions league final, we can never have a team like Valencia playing 2 champions league finals back to back like ever which is again sad. There is no competition left. If anyone besides City, Juventus, PSG or Bayern are winning their league it's seen as a football miracle which is again very sad.

So tired of what football has become and how it all works but I still enjoy it and can't wait for European Competition to start. I'm only excited for group stages and my excitement fades away after that when I have to watch oil derbies in the semis or finals.

Go bet dude if you put 100e on united to win the tittle you'll win 700e. I'm with you on that, I hope so but let's be honest and realistic here for a moment Chelsea and City are way better teams and the moment they can't be touched.

@aleeex1972 claaims he’s this super football fan but posts like he knows absolutely f--- about football, and doesn’t even watch the champions league after the group stages lmao. That ain’t no football fan.

He also says “signing a 37yr old player won’t change anything at united” how salty can you get lmao. This is a guaranteed 25-30 goals a season for us. And with varane in the defence we’re more likely gonna concede/lose less. Treble here we come!

    Salty cause Ronaldo left? hahahah

You guys are in big trouble now, I'm afraid how Chiesa will perform without Cristiano cause man he was depending on his ability to score a lot. I'll be focusing more about not missing UEFA champions league for the next season there buddy like you almost did last year and you had Ronaldo.

Dude, I grew up watching a different type of football not this f---ing football manager on easy mode in real life. Been watching this game for almost 25 years now and I hate it nowadays I can't f---ing stand it.

And I didn't say I'm not watching I said my excitement fades away. I will always watch it, doesn't mean it brings the same happiness as it used to. Football used to be like a religion now its a business.

25-30 goals and treble? man aren't you over excited.

Let's bet you won't win any trophy this year. I'll bet you you won't finish in the top 2 in the premier league or win the champions group you're in.
