Feb 7, 2016 See Eminem was like a major record label's dream He had the good looks that appealed to females who find him attractive and are so drawn to his looks - image He had the ability to make the most catchy and best hooks - hook making ability He had the struggle story and back round he grew up poor, grew up in the hood, grew up without a father, grew up on welfare, grew up with a drug addict mother, grew up working minimum wage jobs to provide for a daughter and wife, was homeless - back round story Song writing ability he has the ability to write any type of song and it will be a smash hit emotional song, conscious song, love song, animated song, party song, horrorcore song. Has the ability to write the most catchy hooks, any type of verse, catchy bridges, catchy melodies - Song writing Singing ability his singing is very catchy even if u don't think he is a great or good singer the catchy aspect of his singing can not be denied and it made him appeal to and liked by non hip-hop fans who find his sing really catchy and are so drawn to it - singing/melodic ability He is charismatic he had the charisma to pull of his shady persona, to make people laugh, to make people interested in both his serious and funny side - charisma Ability to combine hip-hop and pop like no other the ability to make alternative hip-hop because he raps, sings, harmonizes, uses alot of non hip-hop production a lot of rock and pop production and was able to combine hip-hop and pop more successfully than anybody else - experimental musical ability Emotion he has emotion that draws more people in than any other rapper and more than most artists across all genres especially young females who are heavily drawn to the emotion in his songs - emotion Street cred though he never ever was a Gangster, d--- dealer or organized criminal he as a white dude grew up in the hood, in Detroit 1 of the most dangerous city's in America for decades, he grew up in hoods that were predominantly black and lived in section 8 housing in Detroit and his best friend from child hood was black. He also caught a case for pistol whipping and beating up a club bouncer that made him get probation -street cred as far as actually growing up in the hood and a black dominated city Production that is catchy he had the ability to use production that pop fans like that appeals to non hip-hop fans especially from The Eminem Show album on wards - Production
Feb 7, 2016 Issiah Stewart may hate these fans but the fact is for a hip-hop artist to even get anywhere near Eminem's record sales, popularity, success, fame, iconic status they have to appeal to this crowd and have albums and songs this crowd loves and are impacted by.
