    I also firmly believed that less sections, and having the forum carve out a niche was important. There are so many general hip-hop communities that offered more than HHS, it didn't make sense to go about it the way it was. When I saw it becoming bigger (in terms of categories), more divided, etc. My vision for how the site would need to operate to succeed and Noddy's very clearly did not line up.

    I'll be completely honest and say that (because I'm about transparency), I did go along with some of the stuff that happened in the process of being an admin at Hip-Hop Shelter.

    For example, I agreed with the unfair banning of DetroitSkills because I did not like DetroitSkills.

    In hindsight? Totally wrong. The site, including myself, played favorites heavily at times. I tried my best not to (and me & Rafael both know I would have banned Raf if it was strictly favoritism), but stupid s--- happens.

    I'm not going to play innocent.

    Yeah, that's the one notable exception. I disagreed with it because it looked childish. Pain, TRex, Spaced, and the other sane mods agreed with me.

    The forum doesn't even have any reason to remain open. It's essentially a refuge for Eminem stans who don't like dissenting opinions and elitist stans of obscure underground hip-hop. Literally any other site allows discussion of the same thing, only difference is that elsewhere, someone might disagree with their opinions rather than circlejerk it.
