Oct 25, 2016 if you have been on the ride you'd know malfunction just sounds dodgy as s---, it's pretty much a floating raft sorrounded by a huge rubber tire that's weighted at the bottom, somehow flipped over in 1km per hour water, its just like a massive Like i've been on this ride literally like a hundred times, it's just unthinkable how this "malfunction" could have caused "2 people to be ejected from the ride" and k--- another 2 like im literally sitting here like

Oct 25, 2016 imo its probs a slight cover up for their dodgy rides. pretty sure a year or two ago someone nearly drowned on the same ride called "white water rapids" after that they changed the name to "thunder rapids" or some s---. pic of raft/track below (it doesn't go very fast at all)
Oct 25, 2016 These Queensland rides are dodgy af... I remember back in 2013 I visited Queensland and went to all the theme parks n s---. One of the rides I went on I forgot what it was called or where It was it was a yellow Rollercoaster I think. Anyway before we took off I noticed my seat restraint wasn't locked in and it was only being held by the seat belt, I told the lady and she's like no no it's fine and continues to launch us off into death. Luckily right before the loop I managed to pull it into its lock with the help of the guy sitting next to me.

Oct 25, 2016 also was stuck sitting in the claw for about an hour one time. the floors kinda open up so you cant scrap the ground with your arms/feet when it swings and the floor wasn't closing so we had to sit in mid air waiting for some f-- to fix it lol

Oct 30, 2016 Around 10 years ago I flew to Gold Coast, Queensland for a family trip. We went to Dreamworld and I vaguely remember this ride. Such a shame this has happened.
Oct 30, 2016 This is in my city I attended the scene and the police minster informed me it did indeed flip and it's the conveyor belt that failed I've been on this ride a lot and I know that it's a free floating ride it's not chained to anything beneath apart from the beginning and end of the ride to stop it so people can get on and off The helicopter footage shows it flipped over half way standing vertically right next to another one. I think 2 people drowned because they were stuck underneath the other one and the other two were injured or crushed when it flipped. The two kids who survived unscathed was probably because they were small and just slipped through everything
