It's really like yall believe your countries are infallible.. why does no one ever question their OWN people's decisions.. why does the bad guy always HAVE to be an 'alien', a foreigner...

why do so many people play the blame game? Just to relieve yourself of any responsibility and accountability??? That's what's destroying our world fam.. we need to take more responsibility for our own bad decisions and actions

last post then i will leave hopefully someone else back me up :emoji_slight_frown:

as hard as this sounds, the risk wont increase...the people who says this are misinformed people who never lived in an arabic country so they dont know how easy it is to hop on a plane and go there...you creating this monster and feeding it and forcing yourself to believe refugees are the problem

now these refugees who got in, that supposedly wanna k--- you...where will they get the bombs? from who? from where? other refugees? will parts of it be shoved up their a----s as they get in? or will they create a lab within the camp?

mate, think if you were in their position...what if your little sister was the one wanting to get in or your mom? will you be singing this tone? i doubt it

i just hope the millions of children and women can find a safe place to stay...where they dont have to be turned away to their death by cold hearted monsters

I understand what you're saying, bit it's simply wrong.

It's much harder for Isis to get a fake refugee trough all the border controls, than paying a ticket to Europe or asking a European Isis supporter to blow himself up

Uhhhh because we are a country that was founded by immigrants. Why do you think we have the Statue of Liberty? U.S. certainly has a moral responsibility to accept Syrian refugees, it'd be hypocritical if we didn't. Also @captain awesome already addressed the whole "homeless veterans" comparison. Both issues can be addressed we don't have to choose. Suggesting we have to do one over the other displays a misunderstanding of how U.S. policy works.

I come from a family who was seeking to escape war in Iraq. I am not saying I share the same beliefs as every Iraqi citizen, but I (among majority) definitely believe Sadam being in power would leave Iraq in a much better state than it is today. I think of him as the lesser of evils. Sure many were happy when Saddam was gone for good, then again it could have been the hope that there would be something BETTER to come after it. Fast forward to today.. no where NEAR a democracy, nor are they ready for it., it needs guidance but lessons on its own in order to get to that position. It is too chaotic, the people in my opinion need a dictator.

(I apologize for bringing this up again.. as it was brought up pages ago, I just had the urge)

As for the original thread topic.. good on France, others should follow.

    >terrorists could get in if we accept refugees
    >actually it's harder for them to come in that way, so more than likely all the people coming in would be simple refugees
    >YEAH WELL IF OBAMA WASN'T OUR PRESIDENT...

Why does the average American citizen have to feel guilty about things they had nothing to do with? I don't feel bad for the Syrian refugees, in a responsibility kind of way. I sympathize with them, fleeing war is admirable and understandable. But I go to bed at night with a clean conscious. I'd imagine those in higher power don't have that luxury.
