Jun 17, 2016 Granted bail: http://pitchfork.com/news/66134-freddie-gibbs-granted-bail-in-r----case/?mbid=social_twitter
Jun 17, 2016 If he's guilty I'll still bump him like I do Chris Brown, Keef and all the other criminals that make beautiful music
Jun 17, 2016 This. I mean if it's true he's a disgusting piece of s--- but it doesn't change his music. Maybe hopsin is the male version of mother teresa, not making me like his music
Jun 17, 2016 Like idgaf if a rapper shot a guy or killed someone because they always prolly had kind of a reason Chief keef ain't even that bad just d--- dealing and driving too fast I think he's a good guy What irks me is when a rapper r---d someone because there can't be any reason but being an a------
Jun 17, 2016 I don't agree with this The live of the guy matters to his music If it finally appeared Gucci mane was actually born in middle-class and never had any problems in life then his music would suddenly sound stupid Same as if j Cole would be a known r--ist, how could you still take his message seriously?
Jun 17, 2016 I would still listen to any rapper when if they're disgusting pieces of s---, but I would listen and appreciate it differently
Jun 17, 2016 Maybe but guys like Wayne, Gucci and TI also went to jail, not changing my view on their music. Agree about J cole but honestly their message isn't that important to me, if I enjoy it. Wasn't Rick Ross a cop and now talking about g--- life? I read that somewhere. f---ing hypocrite if true but I enjoy his s--- anyway
Jun 17, 2016 I wouldn't care lol look at Rick Ross or even N.W.A. and a lot of rappers, not many are actually gangsters. Idgaf if they capture that lifestyle and sound in a quality way then I honestly don't care at all. Another example is R. Kelly
Jun 17, 2016 Well it's good that wayne went to jail, it only makes him more credible, it adds to the legend if you get what I mean I don't care wether a rapper is a good or a bad guy, but I like when there real life personalities are coherent/add something to their music
Jun 17, 2016 Well I do lol I don't mean I can't enjoy Rick Ross music at all, but Gucci just sounds better when doing the same because he's real
Jun 17, 2016 Yeah I know what you mean and the way you describe it now I agree. I just wouldn't stop or start listening to a rapper/artist because of his personal life. Music aside, a song like Eminems 'Fine Line' is great to me because it totally fits how he presents himself: sitting in his house, afraid to go outside etc
