Oct 28, 2015 knowing kendrick its probably some d33p metaphor about how we like to ignore all our problems by putting our frivolity on display :fantano:
Oct 28, 2015 I knew the second I got a notification from Narsh, it wasn't going to be pleasent. Bruh, can't I just have my stanning here? Like...in the Kendrick section??? I mean, if you wanna call Thug the greatest rn, cool bruh. But my opinion's different and I thought I could express my love for Kendrick in the correct section. I wasn't even dissing Thug, I was just saying I think Kendrick's on a higher level. That's not me saying Thug's not on his own thing, cuz he is. I'm not going to Thug's section, Em's Section, Drake's section or J. Cole's Section and saying how Kdot's the best, i'm just doing my thing here.
Oct 28, 2015 are you really ask me to let you stan in peace lol? if you say something off base re: music i cant comment on it b/c its about kendrick in the kendrick section? come on man dont be so insecure, just have it @ w me and everything will be fine lol tell me why you think putting more time into something = it being better, or why what kendricks doign is "on a whole different level" YOU'RE the one that brought up other artists, okay. dont get defensive if i comment on it.
Oct 28, 2015 Man these Kendrick videos are getting better and better. Every one of them is so dope and unique that it's a joy to watch. I'm really proud of you K.Dot
Oct 28, 2015 Honestly, I sorta am...I mean dealing with people calling TPAB trash is hard enough. But you know what, I will answer your question. I was wrong on the time part, I mean't effort. Cuz like, MMLP was done in 6 months vs MMLP2 which was done in 2 years and we know which one is better. Like for example, Wayne obviously put more effort in Tha Carter III vs. IV and III was obviously better, because you could tell he was really into what he was doing, and doing it for more then a paycheck. Young Thug dropped "Slime Season" last month, and is dropping 2 on Halloween. Maybe he just lives in the studio, but idk is he releasing these projects so quickly to capitalize off of his success, or is he actually doing it because he wants to make great pieces of work and cuz he love music? And Kendrick did something totally different with TPAB, and lost 25% percent of his audience doing it, but I think he did it right. Production wise, it was crazy. It put him on a higher level in my opinion because he did something totally out of the box, and it came out a very unique, successful project. You don't hear that s--- everyday in hip-hop. Young Thug, Future, Migos sound...thats the hot thing out right now. That's the s--- people at parties, people commenting on "Hotnewhiphop.com" go crazy for. That's the s--- I turn up to at parties. But now me and i'm sure quite a few others as well, are looking for something different, something that doesn't feel slightly redundent. That "trap" sound, that Londononthetrack, Mike Will Made It, Southside, TM88 sound is getting boring to me, we need something new eventually. I expect to be called an "idiot", but that's just me airing out my thoughts.
Oct 28, 2015 Not better than Alright but this is really good lol. The hit the quan part was hilarious. Kendrick is the only artist that I actually look forward to his music videos. Usually music videos are just whatever to me but these have been gold lol
Oct 28, 2015 He record majority of slime season over a year ago. He has 100s of songs in his vault. Young Thug, by any metric, works more on his music than Kendrick does to be honest. So you can't be so stuck in ur tunnel vision u know? Production wise, TPAB was a rehash of older styles. Its very listenable, and sometimes great, but it was very derivative. What artists like Future and Thug currently are doing is utterly new and unique, which is why they are on the same pedestal as someone as kendrick, even if that hurts ur soul haha Young Thug doesnt have 1 "sound." Are you saying you hear songs like this every day? People hate thug on HNHH BTW. And read my first post again, the one that made you think i was being "unpleasant" and that @rapmusik liked 2 sneak diss me. All i said was "shut up" and then went on explain why i disagreed. I think were all grown enough to handle being told to "shut up" in passing. What i wouldve loved was a response like this to being with lol, b/c i get that you love kendrick. I do to if you've forgotten. I was one of the most vocal TPAB supporters when it dropped. btw what Kendrick's doing isnt "new." its kind of a forced rehash of older styles more than anything, but i enjoy it. Exciting and different were tracks like maad city, money trees, etc. cartoons and cereal.
