they all bring something to the table and they are all great artists:jr:

    they all sound different:wow:

they are the hip hop dream team:jordan:

the only reason you may not like an artist is because of the type of music they make imo cuz they all are great at what they do:whew:

Black Hippy isn't going anywhere. When they drop they will be the biggest group since g-unit. And when it's said and done I won't be surprised if they go out as the greatest group of all time. Schoolboy Q will behind Kendrick when it comes to popularity. But Jay Rock, Ab soul, Kendrick & school are all going to be around for a very long time.

Pretty much the only L I've seen TDE take was on twitter, in the aftermath of peoples reactions to Ab-Soul's 'These Days', it had mixed reviews, and the publicity and marketing push could have been better. People were underwhelmed, then.. all of a sudden, TDE CEO (dangerookipawaa) comes out and says.. "it's not his 'debut' 'major' 'studio' album" (to try and down play it), wtf makes it 'studio'? lmao, gtfo.

Imagine them trying to market his next project as his real debut, smh. He either deleted the tweet or nobody cared, but still.

If Ab-Soul ever drops that project with JMSN, it's over. But I think he'll last the longest because even if he was dropped from TDE he'd put out good projects independently. Something similar to killer Mike & freeway (who is still slept on)

I loved Oxymoron. I think TDE will be stay relevant a lot longer than G-unit did because of their willingness to work with artists outside of TDE. G-Unit kind of shot themselves in the foot by beefing with almost everyone and refusing to work out of house, once their popularity began dying off no other rappers gave a s--- about working with them.

And because Soulo has the most "underground" appeal, dudes who listen to 90's and underground s--- usually f--- with him. I just hope that he doesn't repeat "These Days", cause Control System was f---ing great as well as Longterm 2.

The thing with Black Hippy is. Before they drop the Black Hippy album they wanted everyone in the group to have a album on the shelves and a fan base. G-unit member's didn't have the fan base as solo artists. So once 50's hype died all the hype died. Once Black Hippy is in the game if one member has a bad year it won't effect the group really.

Honest view? Schoolboy & the golden kid are the only one's that will survive independently in the industry. I f---ing love Jay & Soul (Soul is my fave out of TDE), but their s--- doesn't sell. Kdot's style has adapted to the game well. Unorthodox, authentic & original. Schoolboy has opportunities to make hits which he has proved with s--- like Man of The Year.

I genuinley hope I am wrong though. Each artist is extremely talented. But the climate we're in doesn't reflect that in the business side of our culture.

I agree. That's why I thought jay rock was such a great fit on Strange. Because he will never do big numbers but could still do decent numbers for a indie artist. His fame status could change after this year though. Who know's.

Well since Kendrick is considered the king of hip hop right now I'd say he already blew up.

A selfish as it sounds (in context to Kendrick & Schoolboy), I wish they'd just release a TDE album. The platform for all of them to gain a significant recognition.

Well the Black Hippy album will be Kendrick, schoolboy, jay rock & ab. I would love to see them do collab albums or EP's though.

We will most likely get the black hippy album in 2015. Plus solo albums from everyone. I know Kendrick and jay rock are 100% confirmed. And schoolboy has been working on his next solo. Ab has yet to get a album on the shelves so I'd assume he's dropping in 2015.
