It's a shame that they could have given danny some quality time for once, like Jinn said; these pages in the book were very interesting. I'm also hyped for her story in the next season, and the next book ofc

The clean up crew will arrive next season I guess? There's no way they'll let them get away with it

maybe sansa will take catelyn's role as ls; brienne will find her, take her back and they'll meet up with the brotherhood and start killing everything? I don't see catelyn coming back after this long, but maybe she will

Regarding Snow, he wanted to march and help Stannis, right? I'm not sure if I remember this correctly, but I think that that's what his enemies used as an excuse (their duty is to guard the wall, not to take sides in other wars), after he brought the wildings in.

Book Stannis and show Stannis are different; what happens in the show makes sense, but it sucks that they changed him into a madman who sacrificed his daughter like we're watching Troy. I also believe that he didn't die in that scene, the dream of being king is certainly dead though. @Narsh

I also disagree about Melisandre and the prophecies @Narsh; I just think that she misread them

jon's so bad a--- i cant believe i used to hate the scenes with him


tbf it still kinda took all the way until the battle with the nights king and all that s--- for me to fully be a jon snow stan, and that was just 2 episodes ago lol. definitely liked him a lot more once he stopped being a p---- a season or two ago, but once i became a stan they killed him

I mean it makes the most sense, sam said that jon always comes back, melisandre realised that she had placed her bets on the wrong horse and she's on her way there, jon isn't part of the nights watch anymore so I'm sure that

It's based on the books that were written over the course of decades? Don't think you can chalk up the story decisions to the studio being edgy. I think it totally fits the entire namesake of the show. It's the most sincere tragedy in the Shakespearean sense.

Stannis had to die. He'd just burnt his kid alive. Where does he go from there?
No way is Jon Snow gone btw. He'll be Melisandre's new king.

A lot of people are frustrated by the show's disregard for plot armor. I love the unpredictability of it, though I wish it was less convoluted at times.

I feel like they thought they were edgy with killing popular characters in the beginning but at this point it's getting a little ridiculous. John Snow was by far the best character. Really didn't care about Stannis but to take both of them out was dumb tbh...I predict the last episode is Hodor ruling the Hodor for all Hodors

My mistake. "Dragons never stop growing as long as they live, and they can live for centuries, though many died in combat before reaching such an age" Still a really wack way to use it in the episode. They could have had it shielding Danerys and taking punishment. That would have been a lot more acceptable. Lots of ways to fix it.

Welp, no more sympathy for Stannis.
The legendary dragon looked pretty bothered by guys with spears lol.
The trained fighting force getting killed by rich people in masks.
Oh look, Arya is going to k--- that person you had to Google to remember.
Where is Brenn? Where is Little Finger? Where is Varys? When is the Mountain going to finally be reanimated?

This is what happens when you're faithful to meticulous novels written over the course of decades. Hard to keep up with 9 hours a season.

I love it. I think it's a tier below The Wire and BB but I think it's a pretty incredible show nonetheless. And that's coming from somebody who's never been into fantasy stuff(LOTR)
