    doesnt matter, i dont even like the guy...but you had 4 seasons of investment on him...you forced me to invest, i will not allow this to end off screen like that...this is worse than lost season 6..this is worse than the finale of battlestar...this is ALMOST as bad as the end of dexter...i will literally quit watching of Stannis is rly dead...bad bad baaaaaaaaad writing..like i hope the person who wrote this to die if Stannis is gone...what the actual f--- is this bs, i feel betrayed and i want my time back

    I wasn't disappointed in the last episode, but I felt like they crammed a little too much in...it's like they were just like "OK here's a scene for dany, here's a scene for tyrion, here's a scene for sam etc."

    If I recall correctly, in the books Jon's death
    is ambiguous. He gets hit in the back of the head and the chapter ends. The only other character's death that was ambiguous was Theon's, and he ended up coming back.

    Definitely the worst season, but it was still enjoyable and had some fantastic episodes. My biggest disappointment was how lame the Sandsnakes were in the show because they were pretty badass in the books. They were needlessly sexualized, cringey, and overall pretty bad actresses.

    I'm hoping the writers have what GRRM has written of book 6 to work with for season 6. He claims he wants to get the next book out before S6 but you know how that goes.

    They have to respect the chain of command. In the books, Jon does a few things that eventually lead to his stabbing. Rescuing the wildlings, giving Stannis supplies, keeping two dead men locked in cells to study wight behavior. The final straw for them is when he tells them he's going to march against Ramsay, which is punishable by death in the Night's Watch because the Night's Watch isn't supposed to engage in wars in the realm. They didn't sell his stabbing as well as the books did but Jon's constant support of the wildlings and putting the Night's Watch men in danger by going to Hardhome was the final straw. Also, Jon lost a lot of his supporters- Aemon, Grenn, Pyp, Sam, Gilly.

    f---ing hate Olly. One of my favourite scenes was when those Wildlings invaded his village and told him he is going to eat his mama then his papa. It was so brutal haha.Then he went on to k--- Ygritte, now this. f--- this little prick!

    I hope Melisandre revives Jon and he kills all those f---ing Crows.

    lol relax it's just my point of view. We can agree to disagree. I think it's idiotic. The show is trying to do too much with not enough time. We didn't even see Bran this season but we get a glimpse of super mountain. It actually is very much like a comic tbh. No idea where your basic cable argument comes into lol

    I realize that...just frustrating as a viewer. I would probably assume Stannis is still somehow alive over Jon Snow. You were saying where does Stannis go after killing his daughter. I don't know, where does Ramsey go after chopping off d----s and raping people. They k--- them off for the shock factor but it's getting old

    The thing with Stannis is that he's a smart commander. He learned a lot from Blackwater. In the books, he's more careful about how he approaches Winterfell, plus certain things start going his way like teaming up with the Mountain clans and Jon sending him the Iron Bank representative as well as warning him about a traitor in his camp. He also didn't burn his daughter in the books (or at least hasn't yet). They just really f----- up a great character.

    And as far as Jon is concerned, back in Season 3, Melisandre met with Thoros and Beric from the Brotherhood Without Banners. Thoros is the red priest who constantly resurrects Beric after he dies. She didn't think it was possible until she saw Beric in person. That didn't happen in the books so it has to have a big significance in the show.
