Apr 16, 2016 Not really against the idea. 7 seasons is a lot and going forward, (specially since there's no more source material because GRRM takes his sweet time) how much story can they come up with that will be more or less in line with GRRM's vision? First 4 seasons were incredible. Season 5 has been their first weak season (although "Hardhome" is one of the best GoT episodes of all time). Shorter seasons sounds like a good idea. The show has to end at some point. I still think they should consider doing mini-series based on Robert's Rebellion, Dunk & Egg, etc. There are a lot of stories that can still be told when GoT finishes.

Apr 19, 2016 I want the story to end well and not be rushed/AND/OR/stretched too long. If the writers say 13 more episodes. Then count me in for 13 more episodes. If I want the longest story ever told that may never get an ending, I'll read the books.
Apr 22, 2016 7 seasons is plenty. If it goes past that then it will seriously drop in quality like all shows do when they get to that number of seasons. They could end it with this season, and I'd be satisfied cuz 6 seasons is fine. My ideal number for a show is 5 as I usually lose interest after that, with a few exceptions of course.
