Aug 21, 2017 It didn't help that the a------ in this thread spoiled it, but it all still seemed rather predictable. Then they send the fastest raven of all ravens to get Dany up there. Followed by Jon Snow somehow surviving? Why didn't the Night King finish him off? He should have been dead anyway, but they were also clearly still in the area because they stayed to remove the dragon from the lake. I try to like Arya, but her story has been the worst. It didn't seem like anyone cared that the Hound just sat there while the polar bear went to work on the priest.
Aug 21, 2017 Episode was cool for the content obviously but man there was so much traveling done so quickly it basically ruined my immersion.
Aug 21, 2017 And if these wights are afraid of water or can't go in the water, how the h--- did they chain up the dragon to pull it out? Even though it's fantasy, GoT usually did a better job of making things believable.
Aug 21, 2017 But yeah this Arya vs Sansa plot is fair dumb. Literally everyone in Winterfell knew Sansa was forced to write that letter at the time. If Arya thinks she so much more mentally tougher than her she would understand that Sansa was just a scared little girl. These episodes have been fairly rushed tho, compared to the pace we got the previous 6 seasons. Why is there only 7 this season? Budget? I love every second of this show, I dont care if theres filler, it would help set the pace of the show rather than have one character appear on the other side of the country in a matter of minutes.
Aug 21, 2017 Several holes in the writing but I enjoyed the episode. Might be my least favorite 2nd to last episode of any season though. I think Bran had something to do with Benjen showing up out of nowhere. More important than the getting a dead for proof was them discovering that killing the night Kings could k--- whole army. The accelerated pace kinda bothers me but I get it. They didn't have enough material for a 10 episode season and it would just be filler BS that would have no point to the story that's coming to an end. I imagine Jon and his squad were stranded there for a few days giving the water needed time to freeze.
Aug 21, 2017 The more you think about it, the idea that they would devise a plan to go past the wall, capture a wight, and go on to use it in a meeting with cersei to convince her to suspend the war to fight off the white walkers is just ridiculous That entire plot just sucks in reality
Aug 21, 2017 Yeah it's a pretty trash plan that really just served as a plot device to show dany that they were real
Aug 21, 2017 It was a terrible plan. I was gonna say typical Jon, not the greatest tactician, then I remembered it was Tyrions idea. WTF happened to him, taking massive Ls this season.
Aug 21, 2017 Fr Episode was visually crazy but this is one of the first times I've thought the writing of this show was really poor
Aug 21, 2017 Is there anything more tired in this show than the >main charecter about to die >saved last second no matter what by another main charecter Thing s----s so in suspenseful at this point
Aug 21, 2017 Yo am I bugging or was that old dude that's in love with dany hitting on that drunkard man bun dude
Aug 21, 2017 the whole question of who will be the 3 dragon riders has been answered: 1 - danny 2 - jon 3 - knight king
