Aug 22, 2017 I'm doing another re-read as i can't wait for winds any longer. I'm currently on Clash but for me I gotta go ASOS ADWD ACOK/AGOT AFFC George brought us there for some reason most likely to show the Hound still being alive but I feel like there has to be more. But Cercei's chapters and the Iron Islands are pure heat. Regardless ASOIAF is the definition of classic. Have you read any of the prequels/dunk&egg or the world of ice and fire?
Aug 22, 2017 Yeah, I was a fan of the Cersei/iron islands stuff I remember. I actually just read the first Dunk & Egg last weekend while I was on vacation cuz I figured it would be some nice light reading (which it was, really fun and entertaining while adding a bit of context to the series). I'm not familiar with the prequels or the World of Ice & Fire, what are those?
Aug 22, 2017 Finish Dunk & Egg the next one is just as good as the first and the last story is some of the best George (especially if you rep Bloodraven ) The prequels are the following: The Rogue Prince (its basically a prequel to the next story which is...) The Princess and the Queen aka The Greens Vs. The Blacks aka The Dance of Dragons The first is like 35 pages the second is like 85 pages and you have to buy anthologies in order to get the story. But honestly its 10/10 work George must have ate a strip of L for each scripture. The World of Ice and Fire is basically a encyclopedia of the untold history of Westeros. It details virtually everything from the Dawn age to the birth of Dany's dragons. From all these texts were supposed to know Jon's true parentage according to George... This is like 200+ pages its for true scholars>>> Were also getting the Sons of the Dragon this October it will detail the lives of Aegon the conquerors sons- Aenys and Maegor the cruel. Will be pure fire especially Maegor
Aug 27, 2017 Smashed Dany, is actual heir to Iron Throne, and didn't even have to use his AK. Today was a good day
Aug 27, 2017 also, see people saying what would the night king have done if he didn't have the ice dragon? MFer been plotting for thousands of years, i'm sure he would have waited longer if he had to they played into his hands
Aug 28, 2017 That episode made up for the last one for sure. Little Finger plot line was too obvious but eh, at least he finally met his maker.
Aug 28, 2017 Very good finale about time LF met the gods he's been so useless all season he's been living on borrowed time. Him crying like a little girl on her knees was hysterical. Anyone who thought LF would outlive the spider take a lap or 3... Reek's fight was incredible very proud of him. Really hoping we don't have to call Jon Aegon now.. I'm praying to rhollor that this ep was just Easter eggs for the books... Euron was great as usual and the Hound killed this entire season. Really interested in seeing how Jaime's storyline finishes. Who ever they casted for Rhaegar was an awful choice. Very wack we have to wait another year now. But from this point on all the ep's should be about the length.
Aug 28, 2017 I thought the first hour of this episode was boring as h---. It finished strong, but nothing completely shocking like in the past seasons.
Aug 28, 2017 kinda felt like it was too much set up tbr a bunch of scenes were kinda unnescary like theon & johns conversation, tyrion talking to his sister those dragged on way longer than they needed to seems like they're gearing up for skraight action in s8
