May 12, 2019 Great episode in a vacuum but the rushed storyline made it so nearly all of these character's actions and conclusions weren't that satisfying. I'm ok with how cersei and jamie go out cuz he always goes back to her in the end but like the one episode heel turn for jamie made it feel rushed and unsatisfying. I think that the idea of of dany turning mad from feeling alienated in her homeland after being so loved elsewhere is great but there wasn't enough build up to make it that believable to me. Varys dying for what he believes in makes 100% sense but there was like 30 min of screen time before that happened. They completely ignored the euron pregnancy thing, what an absolute waste of a good villain. Hound conclusion was satisfying to me though since that's been building for so long. Just wish we coulda saw more of him and Arya pairing up again.
May 13, 2019 Looking like Jon or Dany will bite the dust. Tyrion or Bran will get the throne I think. Also trash episode. This is a bad as dexter season 8 and LOST finale
May 13, 2019 idk her d-ck energy was steadily growing through the entire series, then it hit its tipping point when she found out it'd all be worthless due to Westoros not loving her/the Jon thing, then her two BFFs and children die...plus her top people were all betraying her lol she dealt with a lot of s--- before finally snapping, imo
May 13, 2019 It definitely had been slowly building with her fiery temper and making bad decisions like crucifying the masters and murdering the tarleys and such...but she was always the breaker of chains and not about killing innocents. For the heel turn to killing innocents I just feel like I needed a little more.
May 13, 2019 Honestly, this was not a story that could've been told in 6 episodes. After the 6th season, HBO should have ordered 3 more seasons that are regular length (10 episodes per season). D&D and HBO f----- up beyond belief, I don't understand why they decided to order only 13 episodes after season 6 and then absolutely f--- it up with fast pacing, quick and s-----y dialogue and fast travelling. Do they not like money? What was the f---ing point of rushing a decade long build up? Season 7 should've been Jon gathering allies for the war against the Night King, but instead of having half of the season having a slow pace and then suddenly one episode of them beyond the wall where a raven flies 1500 miles to Dragonstone and Daenerys flying that same distance back to Eastwatch and beyond the wall OVERNIGHT... pace it in a way that makes f---ing sense. Season 8 should have been all dedicated to the battle in the North against the Night King and his army of the dead Season 9 should have been all dedicated to the battle for the Iron Throne and Daenerys slowly losing her s--- in the span of a season and not 1 episode. The story makes sense on paper, but not on screen.
May 13, 2019 The last 2 seasons were completely crammed and rushed, it did hurt the story a lot. But d--- that episode was so good. SO GOOOD What I will say is that I wish Cersei did a little more than just hide behind the Red Keep this whole season.
May 13, 2019 I have no problem with Jamie going back to Cersei despite how much time invested between him and Brianne.
