Another great reply. Android user who uses their phone like an iPhone, using none of the "freedoms" he boosts android has but uses it as a point to say why they're better than iPhones. Glad you left the thread.

Most iPhone users don't want the customization. If a user wants additional features jailbreaking it and voiding the warranty is an option. They have to accept the consequences of what may happen to their phone

Cause there is more poor people

And obviously I'm just f---ing around here.

I'm a developer/mostly project manager at this point. I've worked with both platforms, consulted with professors specializing in mobile development (windows phone is worse btw), have a job that involves frequent travel and every person I have encountered acknowledged iOS up until this point.

I have really compared the same applications and they always run better on iOS. I have also had a fellow developer tell me that he made a cross platform application developed and released, the android version had twice as much downloads but the ios one had made them more money.

the development environment is also the best I have ever used, right after Microsoft's Visual Studio, with a lot of tools that are great for analysis and debugging, android dev, meanwhile, is very annoying.

When both the people that use and also create possibilities for these platforms tell you that one is obviously superior, I can't even think that this could be an opinion, cause it seems more like fact.

But tl;dr - android for business, ios for pleasure

I asked a while back what functionalities you use on android that the iPhone doesn't have and you didn't say s---.

The customization clutters the f--- out of android. iPhones are minimalistic and easy to use which is why people like them, they don't want the customization. @Koolo

how do u know? I love some of these android features as do a lot of people i know. Nd the person you described reminded me of the people boasting about a less malware prone phone but using a jailbroken phone.

@csw621 i actually had my youtube splitscreened with my browser the other day watching the kanye interview and reading through sxn80>>> lol

I'm asking for specific things you do on your android you can't do on the iPhone. or how you use your android in a way that an iPhone couldn't and you haven't said s--- but give terrible responses. I'm winning

My point is people don't want/need the customization android offers. Most are happy with reg ios. If they aren't they jailbreak it. But most don't

has anyone ever actually heard the phrase "hey my phone has a virus" ?

I've never heard/known anyone to have a Phone virus... Maybe that's why nobody gives a s--- about the 0.2% 'statistic' it's so small it may as well be 0.

One of my ex-coworkers iPad had some viruses on it, so I mean I guess phones can get them too. Probably gotta go to the shady mobile sites though to get the viruses, because most of them are made to infect PCs/laptops.

If android wasn't open source (which I'm so happy they are, because it opens the door for innovation) they'd probably still control market share, both globally, and domestically. And that whole "Android is malware prone" would be non-existent.

but no, i've never had viruses on my phone, because i'm not a dumbass, and i don't download dumb s--- that opens the door for viruses.

How is cheap, yet performance wise fairly competitive to higher costing phones, suddenly a bad thing? I mean it is actually amazing how well these new budget android phones perform and even though they have plastic cases they're still built good enough to last for the average everyday user. I mean what do you guys with metal cased phones do? Crack nutshells with your phone, use them as boomerangs? Cheap, plastic but high performance phones sound like superb to me IMO, f--- all this overpricing s---.

To me it has always been design or function/performance discussion. From a design aspect get an iPhone, from a performance/function aspect get an android. It depends on what you really hold dear. Either the looks or the function.
