Nov 1, 2018 If you mathematically weighed them out like a 5 or 6. But in reality there are 3 incredibly good albums and 2 very good albums being weighed down by 4 or 5 sub par to awful albums. It's been a tale of two people really. Out of his solo releases I'd say the first three are in the great tier, the next 4 are in the give or take tier, revival was horrendous and kamikaze was very good
Nov 1, 2018 I can respect people calling both Recovery and Revival trash but when you call REcovery great and say that Revival is trash, it is really funny. Lyrically, Revival is better. Content wise Arose beats the s--- outta any Recovery song for me. Production on Revival flows pretty good even though there are different types of beats. Revival had more fillers compared to Recovery I guess. Still saying that Revival is gonna be rated so much better than it is now in few years.

Recovery is motherfucking rock an' roll, man! Just like uncle Stephen King said *. I remember everyone saying from 2010 to 2015 that Relapse is the worst album, now everyone says that this is a classic. the same will happen with Revival in a few years. people can not immediately appreciate such masterpieces, it takes a lot of years. Stan's have no own opinion. Eminem's one word means too much to them. In 2010, Eminem said that Relapse was bad, and then Stan's was repeating it for a few more years, until they forgot the 2010 promo. In 2017, Eminem was hurt by a political line against Trump, and in 2018 he kicked out an album of Revival. Such things are too sensitive for blind Stan's. This is the reason why I am no longer a fan of Eminem. I'm not a blind jerk like the others.

Can't possibly get a 10 as there is a LOT of s--- but you're absolutely right that his entire career should still be kept in very high regard. Who else spanning 3 decades can garner so much anticipation and admiration?
