    GKMC because mbdtf has too many fillers... like wtf at these super long instrumental endings? He completely ruined runaway with that bs

    They're both classics imo, but MBDTF is the better album to me. I can listen to it from start to finish without thinking "this is kindof dragging a bit" once

    Runaway outro is pure filler to me, I skip most of the songs on dark fantasy

    as much i love Kendrick i'll have to say that MBDTF >>>>> GKMC and it's not even close tbh

    GKMC by a long shot , didn’t even need to think about it. MBDTF is overrated imo.

    Too many bad pop/compromised hooks on mbdtf and tbh I only kept 3 songs

    MBDTF easily, but GKMC is still great. We're talking 9/10 vs. 10/10

    If you take out Real & Compton, they would be a lot closer, but MBDTF still has the edge IMO.

    Big Kanye fan but I have to go with GKMC, it was the most authentic album to me.

    if All of the lights, runaway (album version) and monster weren't on mbdtf, it would have been closer but gkmc would still win this

    GKMC because it now have a better score than mbdtf on rateyourmusic.

    No seriously.. GKMC because I can listen to all the songs any time while MBDTF has a weak "So APPALLED" (The bars speak for themselves) and a mediocre Monster

    GKMC. I didn't before, and still don't get the hype behind MBDTF. It's his worst album to me.

    Gkmc is a masterpiece, it really is one of the best albums in a long time.

    And I agree that the album is much better than MBDTF. not every day a rapper comes out with an album as thematically cohesive and story driven as GKMC. Dude told specific stories that are very relatable to those who feel pressured by the environment.

    MBDTF has great individual songs. However, the album as a whole isn't as cohesive as GKMC thematically or stylistically. I also found Kendrick's style more refined, emotional, and powerful on GKMC, especially when you look at the narrative told through the album.

    The beats are also much better on GKMC imo while they sound overproduced on MBDTF. Those who know history of hip-hop will notice how Kendrick's backing tracks have seamlessly integrated late 80s/early 90s production touchstones with modern atmospheres, timelegiving the album a ss, ever-classic sound. To the average listener, the songs just sound great and have hooks galore in them. So, as music, GKMC nods to the past while forging ahead.

    MBDTF: 8/10

    Just my honest opinion
