    No many people who actually watched both play think this. And how would you like me to back it up? Stats are misleading and kobe was more successful in the playoffs.

    well i watched them both play... it's clear looking at who the better player is. just cuz Lebron didn't get booted out before the finals means he's less successful in the playoffs? dude's been to 8 straight finals, and it's gonna be 9. He has 3 finals MVPs. didn't have Shaq leading his team to a title as a 21 year old, but carried a complete a--- team as a 22 year old to the finals. lebron wasted the pre-prime of his career with one of the worst franchises in the nba.

    3 Finals MVP's vs. 2.... and going up against much better teams than Kobe and Shaq did in the finals too. Kobe rode Shaq to his first ring. then he played better in the following years, but still wasn't the main guy. Kobe led his championship teams to 2 rings... that's all.

    And lebron needs an all star team to win. Lemme just give 5 things as to what Kobe is better at:

    1. In the clutch
    2. Free throws
    3. Has more rings
    4. Scoring
    5. Defending
    Not to mention Ice Cube said that Kobe was better :colerly:

    Kobe's style of play/skill set is WAY more similar to Jordan's than Lebron's is, not even close in that regard...

    I think what Mitch is trying to say is Bron is more likely to dethrone MJ as the GOAT than Kobe is...but as far as similarities, no way..Kobe is much more similar in that regard.
