May 21, 2015 I haven't kept up with TV shows at all until fairly recently when I got into 'the following' and really liked that. Before then I actually didn't even realize that shows on regular TV could be so violent nowadays lol. So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any other good thriller or horror like TV shows, just something exciting in those categories, doesn't have to be a lot of violence necessarily. I also liked 'the returned' as well by the way and recently started watching 'bates motel' and am into that so far too. I'd appreciate any good recommendations, it's even better if they're on netflix but not necessary.

May 21, 2015 Lmao, I'm very familiar with south park but that's not really what I had in mind. Even when south park has 'darker' episodes, it's still meant to be funny. I'll look into falling skies though.

May 21, 2015 Agreed, I'm really gonna miss that show. For bates motel I've watched the 1st 7 episodes of season 1, probably gonna finish the season tonight or tomorrow. Without spoiling anything, are the last few episodes of this season pretty good if you happen to remember them? Also how does season 2 compare?
May 21, 2015 Cant believe they canceled the following American horror story has its moments. Didn't think much of last season but Ive got high hopes for Season 5, Hotel.
May 21, 2015 I wont drop any spoilers but yeh i thought season 1 was pretty weak its all pretty much build up to the finale and the start of how norman turns into one of most iconic serial killers in film,its pretty funny because i stopped watching after ep 7 of season 1 and then one night i was really bored and started watching again and thought the last 3 eps were interesting as f---. As for season 2 i thought it was really good i think i watched the whole season in a day i thought the story was interesting (although i cant really remember what it was and it focuses alot on the characters.I think season 3 was better then both 1 and 2 (i think 2 is better then 1 btw).By the end of season 3 your like okay,this is norman bates.Im really excited for season 4 im glad it got renewed for another season
May 21, 2015 Well s--- that's a good sign then if I'm already interested in the show after the 7 episodes that you weren't too interested in. I guess I kinda like some build and story so maybe that's why I like it, but glad to hear the season ends well. Good to know it's going at least 4 seasons so I still got plenty left to watch, hoping netflix adds season 3 pretty soon cuz right now I think they just have 1 and 2.
