    Can we have a Drake group that isn't going to get tagged for every f---ing discussion. I joined a few groups expecting news but instead I get a s--- load of notifications for dumb a--- s--- like survival games every day.

    Its super frustrating when I want to respond to threads I am active in rather than have to deal with 9 notifications with maybe 1 or 2 that are actually relevant Im going to post perfect example of the s--- I am talking about

    Thats example of s--- that ruins the mod.

    Heres an example of the mod done correctly

    While these games can be cool for the most part its not s--- I imagine people wanting notifications for. If you want toppled these games don't tag the group and just create your own mini list. When there is too many notifications they kinda do the reverse of their intent so It should be avoided.

    Sorry to everyone who was tagged and mislead by this thread I really do hope this is the last of this.

    @Father Skippy How is mine improper though? When the mod was created this was one of the main things it was done for according to admins. Doing a mini list is a pain in the a--- because you can't copy & paste mentions from post to post.

    I agree with the op, even though I haven't been bothered by excessive tags.. it makes sense if users could create groups themselves.

    Ex.: Lasik releases a new song, posts the soundcloud, and then "add yourself to @lasikmusic if you want to be notified in the future."
    Ex. 2: Poohdini posts a Drake elimination game, then "add yourself to @drakegame if you want to be notified for each round of the game."

    This way you're subscribing to a very specific group, ie. @kanyenews, @youngthugfashion, @drakegame

    etc etc.

    @Koolo

    My suggestion of introducing a "artist liking" feature to be notified of breaking news solves this problem. Blends news with leaks. We should talk more about it.

    Could be a different type of thread following.. "Follow this thread only when OP notifies you". Shouldn't be a customizable name though.

    @Loyalty had this one covered for the most part.

    @Poohdini I don't care if thats how the admins where using it at first its f---ing annoying to get tagged a bunch of times for s--- you don't care about in a few days, thats why this thread was created to bring attention to the issue

    I agree, separate the groups and create a group for ForumGames or something. I'm only interested in news (new snippets etc.) not lists of favorite songs by people.

    1 tag every 24 hours is making you this upset? You're the only person I've seen complain about it since it was made.

    What about a feature that lets the OP tag everybody who's posted in the thread? If I tag @nwtseliminationgame then everyone who participated will get a notification.

    Ppl act like i can just make mods everyday... ppl will always abuse stuff.. i have no idea why @LasiK tag half the forum but im not gonna edit this mod any time soon

    Introducing a group for games might be good i dunno

    I don't abuse the tag mod though. I use it in the creative section, along with my previous mention list, as to include the people who aren't part of the CreativeSXN tag but have shown interest in the past (likes, comments, etc.)

    there's some overlap but AFAIK there's no way for me to know of the overlap in mentions. I'll cut back on using it if it's a problem.

    Suggestion for group tagging, when you get a notification for when someone tags the group can it say "tagged your group" instead of "tagged you"?

    How about this. For example, I join the DrakeSXN, I have the option to choose to be notified about games, news, and/or music, or all of the above. When someone uses the group tag, they have the option to tag it as games, news, or music.

    Yeah me and @Radeem pointed this out as well. But it's not that easy I guess. Group feature is really great if it's used well and not for random discussions (like 'is YT attractive' lol). But it doesn't happen that much except for a few posters.

    I also thought it was just for news/new music, and it seems that @Koolo etc do their best to make sure it's used the way they intended it

    I can set something up pretty quickly but it would have to have the subgroups so it would be like you click Drake then a drop down menu and it would be games, music, videos, beef, news or something and news would already be selected the users would be able to join groups and s---. If it's done like this it's only creating new groups and one little portal that doesn't even have to be made.
