    I've still never played IV tbh and i've heard that's one of the best ones, wish they'd at least port that to ps4/5. so many ps3 games getting lost in time like that.

    though I got my ps3 from storage so I spose i could just buy a used copy too lol

    I liked it tbh, I was only bored doing some missions with Michael (the ones family related). Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing it.

    That’s the whole point of the character lol. I would say they are even making them look better by erasing that flag from the game, cause they are not parodying them explicitly anymore.

    nah I didn't hear about any posters, just referring to the fact that the chinese market for american film has gotten so big that they have a big influence over content cuz studios are afraid to offend the gov't and get the films pulled from that market...kinda like how the american military consults for marvel moves n s---

    I'm in 100% agreement with you there—i remember as a kid seeing those old racist looney tunes shorts on cartoon network and they had a disclaimer beforehand that said something like "these cartoons feature racial stereotypes that were prominent and pervasive at the time. They weren't OK then and aren't OK now, but to remove them would be to pretend that they never existed." That's the move for stuff like that imo

    That little fine detail is taking away the integrity of the game for me. Yes, VI will be a politically-correct panderer. I promise it will. And I would love a female protagonist. It's totally time. However, at this rate, that means I want that s--- extra gory. Equality, goddammit. Don't have me feeling like you're going to censor unnecessary s---. People like Phil Cassidy existed in The 1980's (And they still do. But for the sake of nostalgia, what was the point of its removal? His arm getting blown off will not hit the same with that weak a--- skull on his shirt. I don't care what anyone says. It won't make or break the game. But it's a lame a--- addition.).

    Falling off is about quality isn’t it & its a pretty wide consensus that the game isn’t at the same quality it used to be, especially story-wise, which is what GTA was. The multiplayer for the most part is played & marketed to children more than anything because it makes them the most money, it doesn’t mean it’s better, they’ve just sold out.

    Just read @Jermaine Kole Country post, he put it much more eloquently than me lol

    I get all that, my gripe is with saying they’ve fallen off. To say that is just 1. Opinion based and 2. Having no understanding of how game development/business works, especially when the same people upset about it are the same ones who will pre order gta 6 for $80 lol.
    I get your point about the play style being “same old” at this point, but these games have always been like this, and for the most part been wildly successful. I thought their last effort RDR2 was pretty d--- innovative within the “gta style” parameters.

    I despise micro transactions with games like 2k/Madden, but the difference is, those are quite literally pay to win. You kind of can’t have a full experience without shelling out extra dough on top of your $60 game purchase. Rockstar is forcing nobody to buy anything. They re release GTA5 of course for profit, but also because it’s a wildly popular online mode and they have to cater to new console generations. It’s just the way it is.

    I guess I don’t understand what people want Rockstar to do? Release a game every other year? Games of their caliber take time! Rdr came out just 3 years ago! I just have 0 understanding of how someone has fallen off when the last 2 efforts they've had were one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, and the most profitable game of all time; regardless of people’s preferences towards them. On top of that their next effort being one of the more anticipated games of all time.

    and I agree, after GTA I would love for Rockstar to create some new IPs, maybe even try their hand at more linear games.

    I mean, that’s subjective. And like I said about gta5, it’s the most profitable piece of entertainment ever, “falling off” would be to not continue to make money off of that. Last thing they released was met with critical acclaim across the board. I think y’all are just spoiled lmao.

    Don’t know about this one. They just released a massive, critically acclaimed game in 2018. GTAV is the most profitable thing ever lmao so of course they’re gonna continue to push that. This remaster stuff is interesting at the very least. If you wanna say they’re greedy then that’s a fair point, but “fallen off” is crazy to me.
