Jan 18, 2018 In my honest opinion Lil pump is not an amazing rapper in the "traditional" sense, but his music is so f---ing fun. I like his tape more than Super Slimey and it's not even close even though thug and future are obviously miles above as artists. But, I don't get why people hate on Gucci g--- but then gas other middle-of-the-road trap songs that are in the exact same vein. Like @Lucifert 2R i root for pump every step of the way. He's a rapper who started rapping for fun because his friend told him to and then he blew up because he's a charismatic character whose his music and persona is fun, hilarious, and self-aware. Reason I brought up revival is cuz on a musical level revival is pretty much unlistenable and practically tone deaf in terms of beat selection, whereas I think the catchiness of Gucci g--- is undeniable. So it's baffling to me that someone could enjoy songs on revival and say Gucci g--- is one of the worst songs they've ever heard, cuz nearly every song on revival is such a chore to listen to that they're legitimately a contender for bottom 50 songs I've ever heard (and that's being generous).
