    Oilers will never be great again until MacTavish gets the boot or he figures out how to manage a hockey team.

    This "offense wins championships" mentality he has isn't going to get him very far.

    imagine your team made it to the finals and was 1 win away from winning the championship.
    then imagine that your star player got caught banging a reporter and was told to demand a trade by his wife
    imagine that your team pretty much walked when they knew your star player was walking
    then imagine not only missing the playoffs for the next decade, but finishing in the bottom 5 for most of those seasons
    and then on an 11.5% chance to win the first overall pick and draft what scouts say is the best prospect in a decade, you win the lottery and get to draft him.

    i'm still on cloud 9.
