I agree that em fans are close minded but speaking for myself, em is the reason why i listen to so many different artists. He put me on to naughty by nature, ll cool j, krs and many others and since then I always wanted to educate myself on hip-hop and music in general.

That being said i think its all about timing. Its kendricks time right now so all the talk is kdot, next is kanye and when he drops the focus will be on him. So i have no clue if be passed em but he obviously has gained alot more fans and praise.
