tpab, track for track, has pretty low replay value, but as a complete album, it requires a full listen to fully appreciate the music. I don't have no motherfuckin time to listen to this n----- album all the way through and honestly and quite frankly, the music tone-wise, is a kind of a drag. Not boring necessarily, but definitely a drag (especially at this point). Still a good album though. I think its overrated but still very good musically.

I love TPAB, but I've only listened to it twice. Compared to Love Story, which I've listened to over 10 times and relate to more. (Obviously) but still, TPAB is an amazing piece of work, and one of my favorites.

I don't find much replay value in rappers talking about the consequences of fame and the negative impact the music industry has had on them etc. It surprises me that so many others deem that kind of content to be very interesting.

Alright is the only song that stayed in my rotation since a few days after it came out.

Album has virtually no replay value.

    listeners?

its good music, part of making good music is the production/beats

you could remove all the lyrics and it would still be :emoji_fire:

your simple minded for not knowing good music realizing not everything has to do with content/words spoken
if you think the fame/hood concept is boring and makes bad music, thats your fault for not feeling the music

when music first came to be, there were no spoken words .. it was sound

oh and your a fa---- :squat:

I seem to have done the same thing with both Kendrick albums. Played it non-stop for the first few weeks. Gone off it for a good period of time. Gone back to it. Now it's forever classic and enjoyable at a few listens per week/per day.

It's a good album but the replay value he had on GKMC just isn't there.. The fact it's lost 90% of it's hype in a month tells me this album simply isn't a classic. As much as everyone on this forum wants it to be..
