Think about it in a way I'm glad he is ignoring them now and whatnot

what have these bums ever did for Eminem besides probably aid in his drug addiction in various ways

ruined tons of possible goat songs like Fight Music and Words are Weapons with their awful rapping verses like wow how did this trash get through

Eminem threw these cats a bone and wasted his time giving them an album in the midst of his prime and one later to extend what little relevance they had before he ODed

imagine a world without D12

we would be guaranteed at least one more great Eminem album and who knows what else would be changed

Without Proof, Em might not have reached the levels that he reached. Proof and Bizarre helped connect Em to other Detroit artists and the Outsidaz, who would bring out Em at their shows. The group also helped establish Shady Records as a successful label even though it eventually turned to s---. When D12 were successful, commercial rappers all had crews. As goofy as the group was, they helped Em fit into the commercial landscape by being his crew. I think most people see them as a bunch of dudes that Em helped but they were there for Em before he blew up. The general audience just didn't see that.

This. We all wish Devil's Night would have been an Em solo album but if it weren't for them he would've just been working on different music. Maybe there's some unreleased solo stuff from that time period that will leak sometime in the future.

em wouldnt release a solo right after mmlp.. it was for the group.
so devils night wouldve never existed probably

and never had problem with kuniva proof and swifty on most songs

Actually, I respect Eminem for signing D12 and keeping his promise even though he suddenly blew up and became the biggest rapper. I don't know but this makes me even a bigger fan of his. Sure, Devil's Night Eminem might have released another classic at the time instead of spending his awesome verses in D12 album but Devil's Night is still awesome. Proof was a pretty good rapper anyway btw.

Swifty MC vay and kuniva are f---ing dope and both D12 albums are great listens, especially devil's night. Every D12 feature on an Eminem album is dope
