    Nostalgia plays a major part.

For successful memories time makes them more romantic.

For failed memories time just makes one more resentful of what could have been.

There's been many a time where I remember a Finals loss for the Crows and I always think "f---, what if?"

As supporters we're just left to rue on missed opportunities at times. :emoji_slight_frown:

Yeah I get more emotional rewatching Collingwood's 2010 win more because later on you appreciate how amazing those wins are as they don't happen all the time (unless you're bloody Hawthorn).

Almost cried out of happiness when Young threw the game winning TD to TO. I was about 11yrs old and just finally beat GB.

Smith to VD just had me screaming and jumping around but no crying.

I'm a ravens fan, can't remember if I cried or not but I know I sat and stared in a dark room at a wall for an hour afterward and my dad sent a text to all our relatives saying he hoped a nuclear war happened and killed everyone
We won the super bowl a year later tho so it's all good :notbad:

Such a great moment. Only to be ruined two weeks later, by the biggest kick in the nuts.

Almost teared up when the Lakers lost to the Celtics in the finals in 08.....thank god Artest made that clutch 3 game 7 in the 2010 finals. I went outside & yelled for a couple minutes.

That 08 finals game 6 was brutal man... Maybe the worst sports moment in my life as a fan.

h--- yeah. 07' pats, 11 pats and most recently us almost losing to the Giants, until Money Gost kicked that game winning FG against the Giants. (didn't really cry tho, but was so pissed)

I'll never get over Super Bowl 42. Never.

I remember being so depressed after that loss lol. I mean, I've been down about losses before, but I was just devastated after that game. I was so convinced we were gonna steamroll the Giants, and become the greatest team in history. 19-0, 4 Super Bowls in 7 years, all the records.... f---...

That loss just haunts me. I've watched that final Eli Manning drive, and f---ing God, what a bunch of missed opportunities by our defense. Complete choke job.

In 2011, the Giants and Pats were really close, talent wise, so it's not as difficult to swallow. We had one of the worst Super Bowl defenses of all time, so it wasn't that shocking that we lost. The Welker drop was f---ing huge though, but idk, I wasn't as shocked as 2007.

Brady came on the radio like 2-3 weeks after the 2007 loss, and he said he saw Moss wide open like 6 times, and if he had one more second on most of those drop backs, he would've had him for a bunch of scores.

    f---ing frustrating.

That was such a great game for us. To know, during the whole 4th, that I was FINALLY going to watch my Celtics win a title, especially against the Lakers (my whole childhood, I heard about the great battles with the Lakers, and how great the C's were).

It was pretty disappointing after we had a 3-2 lead, then Kendrick Perkins got hurt in game 6 in 2010.

I f---ing knew we had zero shot in game 7. So god d--- disappointing.
