Aug 23, 2016 kind of bold assertion, but im a big fan of mcbride and jody hill that i wont not allow it. my thing is eastbound was sooo driven by kenny, he was such an amazing character. vice principals - if u can believe - is more assemble and character driven. neil isn't as memorable but hes much more subtle. besides wryly sending up what being a school admin/teacher is rly like (awesome place of satire) i rly think its a show about emasculated males. kind of the anti-kenny which wasnt evident to me for a bit

Aug 27, 2016 I think it is right there with it quality-wise. Plus we're getting more of it than EB&D. First season of Eastbound was only six episodes, I think we still have 3 episodes left of VP. Also, it's because of the individual characters as much as the chemistry between Lee Russell & Neil Gamby, and how their motivation to ruin this woman's life, and take her job, fuels the bond between them, and makes them need each other. However, in the last episode, you hear both of them encouraging each other to succeed in their personal lives, or sympathizing with their struggles. For instance Lee acts slightly concerned by Neil's daughter going from horseback riding to motocross (If only to make Neil think he cares) before commenting on how stupid it is that Neil has a nemesis named Ray. BTW, Ray low key such a hilarious character to me simply because of how much he supports Neil even though Neil totally despises him. Then after Lee watches Belinda make a fool out of herself in front of the school board after they return the books, he calls Neil to celebrate their victory, and describes her state of defeat to Neil over the phone before encouraging Neil, and wishing him luck with bonding with his daughter via motocross. So it's funny as h--- to me, that despite their ulterior motives, they've formed this necessary friendship that I think will end up becoming a real one. Or they'll end up f---ing each over big time once Belinda is out of the picture (If they succeed in removing her, a plan which took a huge hit when she caught Lee spitting in her f---in' coffee - what killed me is that he enjoys dousing people's beverages with his saliva as a way of revenge so much that he waits to do it last, as if to savor the moment where he gets his payback over people who don't even know they've wronged him LOL.) I think most of this show's hilarity stems from what their end game and ultimate goal is, what they're f---ing people over for, burning a woman's house down, and doing everything possible to smear her reputation, all for the title of Principal. So no doubt if it comes down to the two of them, I gotta wonder how badly they're gonna f--- each other over. I can't wait to see how this show ends. I believe they have 3 more episodes then they'll take a break, and return either in spring or fall. I think of spring cause I know each nine episodes represents a season - this first one being the fall semester, and the second one being the spring semester, so I don't know if they'll return in spring, or return in fall with the plot being set in spring. But I think they an return in spring since they've already finished filming the entire show. I hope so, it'd be stupid to drag it out. Most shows take breaks because they have to start filming the next season, and that's not a concern here.
Aug 29, 2016 I found a DL link for this right after I lucked out on one for The Night Of. I put this on my External HD after I finished TNO Finale (Absolutely Incredible IMO - In the most ordinary manner possible. I threw this one afterwards, but I didn't really pay that much attention. I usually wait and watch it with my brother since he thinks it's hilarious too. I can't believe I found a DL link for all of my shows so soon. Ray Donovan, The Night Of and Vice Principals. Last week I din't find a torrent until like 5:55 A.M. I sat in bed, checking TPB, and even KAT mirror sites every hour, on the hour, finding nothing until the sun had already popped back up. Anyway, it sucks that there's only two more episodes before this show goes on break until next year. Hopefully they dont' drag a--- in premiering the second half of the series. One of the things that excited me the most about this show despite the idea of Walton & Danny together in a comedy, was the fact that they've already finished filming it in it's entirety, something about that reassures me that it won't be cancelled. I doubt the ratings are anything special, but it'd be f---in' stupid to quit airing a TV series over ratings (Especially when it's only two seasons, and the network has already paid to s---t it.) Also, I dunno why but Belinda's kids trip me out, and Lee's a--- kissing is at 100% in this one, which is always funny. Especially when he's trying to win back her favor after getting caught spitting in her coffee by bringing her free coffee lmfao.
Aug 29, 2016 When Belinda introduces Lee to her sons, his reaction is hilarious. "Oh, well... Strong genes. One of em' looks like Will Smith, and the other one, he uh.... well... I bet he's real nice." Walton kills it with s--- like that. The insincere politeness and genuinely any scene where Lee has to pretend to be nice, key word pretend, cause he has no idea how to do it for real.
Aug 29, 2016 Neil is so delusional, that it's always hilarious when he goes off on these incorehent tirades, ,to prove how he's better than whoever he's arguing with... In this episode, after he gets through making fun of that chick teacher who loves him, his wife butt dials him, and he's like "Ya'll at the race?" and his ex says somethin about their daughter avancing, and then Neil just retorts with "Big whoop. I knew you were just calling to make me sad, but guess what? f--- you. Cause I'm not sad. Best Teacher's Workday I've EVER had at school, and EVERYONE'S laughing at my jokes! So there, enough!" And it iwasn't until he hung the phone up that I realized he was still sitting at the table LOLOL.

Trick them into betraying their own mother and delivering all her deepest, most sinister secrets to Lee. Also when he hits the weed one time and is like "ALRIGHT GOD d--- IT I'M HIGH ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?"
