In this case it is correct. Back in the days rappers knew they couldn't hurt their legacy by dropping a mixtape.

No he did not. It's true that he had several classics within that 4 album streak, but like they said, nobody is challenging the level of acclaim kendrick has.

I don't care what rappers think, it is not correct and being factual a mixtape is a part of their discography. And Infinite wasn't even a mixtape. It was an album even more serious and Eminem knew that and he wanted to create a legacy through it.

I'm one of the biggest Kendrick stans on this forum. I constantly defend TPAB and always will. However, the greatest ever??? He's not. I do believe he will be in the top 10 of all time if he keeps this streak of greatness up.

you haven't seen the video either... the guy who makes the video himself doesn't consider kendrick as the best ever, he's just listing all the arguments that could be made for that case.

So? That doesn't change anything about this conversation, we are also discussing him being a possible goat.

No he did not. They mention metacritic, and kendrick has never dropped a project that had a metascore as bad as 75 or 79. Kdot's average metacritic score so far is 88/100, the highest score for a rapper.

I don't give a f--- about Metacritic bro. Look at the influence, sales and recognition. Kanye takes the W easy.

It's videos like this why I hate discussing hip-hop music now. All this video does is push fans to hate a great artist in his own right even more. All for what? To be edgy/different and get views. HHDX can f--- off.

Of course...Kanye has been around way longer.

Influence, sales, and recognition since Kendrick Lamar broke through to mainstream?

Em and Drake got him beat on sales...prob not anyone else and hardly anyone has the influence and recognition K.dot has.

A conversation between BuffaloBoy V The World and Volt Papii... already turned out as the retardest discussion ever.

The former doesn't even know what he's talking about and the latter is about to quote Drake's sales itt.

I'm talking about Influence sales and recognition in regards to Kanye and Kendrick, in comparison Kanye wins in all categories.

that's a generational thing. I know a lot of old heads who actually consider him as a top 3 hip hop artist, it's just not as undisputable as nas-biggie-pac-eminem-jay
