Oct 15, 2016 Does Kanye though, since Kendrick broke into mainstream circa 2011? outside of his family and persona and everything...has Ye the rapper been more influential and got the recognition that Kendrick has? dunno
Oct 15, 2016 Kind of a hard one but I think he has the edge, and if we talking first 4 projects Kanye takes the cake easy.
Oct 15, 2016 2011 until now, imo, Kendrick is the most influential rapper and also has the most recognition pretty impressive
Oct 15, 2016 Heck since we are on the discussion of Kanye...TPAB may challenge MBDTF as the album with the most recognition ever? in rap
Oct 15, 2016 i highlyy doubt you could find many rap fans that would seriously consider him the ONE greatest ever like i said sure top 5, top 10, top 20 but the same amount calling him the best oat call ja rule or someone the best oat
Oct 15, 2016 Illmatic is debatably as recognized in rap but notice it has way more age on it as well, not the most fair comparison. However, TPAB and MBDTF have way more crossover appeal to other genres
Oct 15, 2016 Right now? no, he ain't even top 10.. but back in the days it wasn't rare to see him being discussed as the potential GOAT. It stopped as soon as he started tarnishing his catalog.
Oct 15, 2016 still by far the most recognition for a rap album ever and then you have like 36 chambers and blueprint and ready to die and a tupac album over tpab tbh
Oct 15, 2016 Again only time will tell. Those albums have many more years on them than the two mentioned where as TPAB and MBDTF probably had more recognition on release than any of those albums mentioned. Either way they are guaranteed to be in the discussion once they age too.
Oct 15, 2016 Oh I forgot you are one of those in the 'lets pretend TPAB isn't as big of a deal as it is' party???
Oct 15, 2016 I came to disagree but after tryind to find out what this video was about... kdot might very well be the chosen one
