Dec 8, 2017 On point @Papa Andy Almost all of my non-eminem fan friends point out how much they liked the third verse and disliked the first two.
Dec 8, 2017 Good read. I agree with every point. Why do people complain about Untouchable not being a typical single? I have seen this opinion quite often on here, even when WOW was released. If he would release his tyical 3 verses about man holes and a female pop star hook you would complain, too. At this point it's getting ridiculous. conscious Em > man hole Em
Dec 8, 2017 Don’t really care love the song listened to it 2 times this morning I still feel great about love the man’s work continuesly Em has never failed or let me down with his subject of content
Dec 8, 2017 I'm a trump supporter and i liked the song. As I said before, I look at it as art and he's expressing his opinion. Otherwise great write up again. Can't wait for the album write up !
Dec 8, 2017 I’m glad Eminem is gonna make the fans of his who are dumb racists consider the fact that they’re dumb racists. Musically, though...this sucks
Dec 8, 2017 I agree. Both WoW & Untouchable show some good signs but are not that well executed & both inconsistent. I like some parts & hate some other parts of both songs. Replay value of both isn't great but I wasn't expecting an Eminem album of 19 songs to be anywhere near a classic or to be great. I am optimistic we might get a decent album.
Dec 8, 2017 am writing bottle episode about what eminem-related tragedy befell wpg2004. ryan murphy producer
Dec 8, 2017 Anyone else think Eminem is a bit of a biter? Recovery - Paper Trail/BP3 heavy influence. Berzerk - Beastie Boys impression. WoW - Very similar to Macklemore Untouchable - TPAB influence
Dec 8, 2017 The reason the first part and second part are so different is because the first part is largely from a white cops perspective, hence the hook, "black boy" cop interpolation and rock rap beat. Its supposed to be jarring. The second part is from the perspective of a black man who is faced with the ills he touches on in the song, hence the beat and what he's talking about. I feel like this is Eminem like we've never heard ever and we need to let him be creative. This was a good read tho. Revival may be his biggest artistic leap since his hiatus. Edit: *great read
Dec 8, 2017 great read once again @Papa Andy . It feels like we've been down this road before. At this point it seems like the whole album is going to show those glimmers of brilliance that popped up sporadically through Encore, Relapse, Recovery, etc but overall will be yet another disappointment. That being said, I actually like this song. Like WoW and the Trump freestyle, I appreciate him trying something a little different. the biggest problem of all though, like WPG said, musically, it sucks.
Dec 8, 2017 lol just because it's pro-black music doesnt make it influenced by TPAB edit: idek if i'd even call it "pro-black." It's kind of just common sense
Dec 8, 2017 I think his point is it being a concept song, being pro-black, sounding musically like "u" and it's duality like "u" and "i".
