Dec 31, 2014 Because The Internet and CAMP were good and he has some interesting ideas (that aren't executed very well a lot of times). I'd rather watch a Community episode than listen to a mixtape by him, but when I do listen to something I don't turn it off. He's not great but he's not trash either, he's kinda stuck in the middle.

Dec 31, 2014 @Piiizzy I'm not a huge drake fan, but i'd still say that objectively, Drake s----s all over Gambino. Kendrick is shi--ing on everyone right now, nothing better than GKMC/section 80 in like the last 5 years imo. The way I see it, in 5-10 years time, Gambino will not have a single song (to-date) that i'd be like "f--- yeah lets put this classic song on!" where as Drake and Kendrick have multiple.

Dec 31, 2014 Kanye is not a good rapper. People doesn't like to face it because he got everything you could want from a rapper, except for a thing: The rapping. I try to get into Kanye music. I respect his work a lot. You can see he is ambitious with what he tries to do. He talks about a lot of subject matters in every album and his presentation is excellent. Tracklist, covers, videos, features, production, etc He have every element you could want from an artist. But he is a rapper. And he just doesn't know how to rap correctly. I recognize that he was a better "rapper" in the past, at the times of CP, but honestly there is not so much difference. Some lines on his lyrics are just cringeworthy. His flow sounds awkard and at some times even laughable. He gets renegade in almost every track with collabs involved. He doesn't know how to freestyle. Last and more important from me, he got like i said before a lot of things to talk but he doesn't know how to talk about those things properly. He talks about those subjects with a vague description, without interesing lyrics, repeating the same things and even putting some horrible puns on those lyrics. I could quote a lot of those lines. Kanye is a great artist and i wouldn't deny that CP, LR, Graduation and MBDTF are, talking in a artistically POV, classics. But he is not a good rapper. PD: Don't try to put Eminem in the conversation please.
