    Nah I think Outkast is the greatest act in the history of the genre, and probably in music in general since Prince and MJ

    Im sort of shocked that you agree that outkast>kanye. I was kind of trying to bait you into telling me about how kanye has the better catalog. I seem to remember you saying something to the effect of "i dont f--- with outkast that much outside of my outkast phase when I was 18" or something of that nature. feel free to correct me on that, i kind of got the impression that you arent the biggest outkast fan. what do you think their best album is?     WHOA you're thinking of someone other than me, Outkast is the greatest and probably has my most listened-to catalog (outside of Wayne, maybe) of all time. I would never say something like that lol

    Ranking those first four albums is nearly impossible. Aquemini is the masterpiece, probably in my top three albums of all time; beyond that, I think you could argue for any of the other three at #2. The plurality of people would have ATLiens there, and I get that, but I think the debut gets unfairly slighted because it wasn't as experimental. My personal favorite outside of Aquemini--maybe even including it--is Stankonia, though I'd concede that's the most uneven. If I had to rank them:

    Southernplayalistic
    Stankonia
    Speakerboxxx
    (Sir Lucious Left Foot)
    The Love Below
    Idlewild
    (that second Big Boi album)

    I think that 2nd big boi album is kind of underrated. its pretty experimental
