    To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Hopsin. The lyricism is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of technical verse construction most of the bars will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also Hopsin’s no bs attitude, which is deftly woven into his artistry- his personal philosophy draws heavily from The Slim Shady LP, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these verses, to realise that they’re not just clever- they say something deep about

    It's basically a softcore porno. Was just a matter of time before YouTube took it down.

    Anyway, 2 Live Crew did this in 1989 and it was only marginally funny then. It has been 27 years. Hip hop has grown up and I suggest Hopsin does the same.
