I don't know. I tend to take on characteristics of the people I'm listening to at the time even if it isn't on purpose. Almost every major rapper has a sound flow. Who ever you admire should be fine. Maybe aim for one that suits your voice or persona.

Imitation is a simple way to practice flowing without necessarily understanding it. Most of the time the rhymes are structured in context to the drums. The drums dictate the rhythm most of the time (unless Alchemist leaves them out).The most simple flow is putting an end rhyme on the kick. Flow is difficult to teach because there is so much variability involved. There are infinite ways to spit over a beat, but in time it should click and become second nature.

Gibbs switches his flow up 4 times each verse. Each one sounds great and approaches the instrumental in a different way.

My voice is pretty deep like Gibbs, so I'll have to check out some deeper-voiced rappers.

Scat-sing along to the beat. Rap along to the slower artists like Diabolic, all the way to Tech N9ne to get used to enunciating and flowing right at different speeds.
