Apr 19, 2015 Flow: In the past I was having some problems doing it on the spot so I tried practicing rapping in English a lot so later when I came back flowing on my first languague I didn't have more complications. I don't know if this technique works for the rest of idioms but it was pretty useful in my case. Lyricism: Just listening to a lot of rappers and try to write rhymes that doesn't feel like they are forced. If you have Writer's Block try to do an storytelling written. On the "Raps about Rap" I want to focus always on creating good wordplay and quotables, multis are ok to add rhythm but I try to never abuse them and be another mediocre "Lyrical Miracle" rapper. Production: I don't produce but I'm looking forward to learn one day
Apr 19, 2015 Don't want to discourage you but I've come to realize some people are just gifted with abilities to flow and deliver, while other just aren't. If you put the time in (and I mean serious time) then eventually you'll see progression
Apr 19, 2015 I recorded some things in the past but I deleted everything and I am not recording anything new. I use my phone to record and it's really awful because it sharpens a lot my voice. I was thinking to record again and pitch my voice like Mac Miller and Madlib do with their alter-egos, would be cool to try.
