Dec 22, 2014 I needed a lot of listens to understand Aesop Rock, Armand Hammer or Billy Woods music. At some time it was like carrying heavy bags full of stones or sth. It was a very exhausting and time-consuming activity. When I discovered the meaning of their lyrics, I felt a huge glow of satisfaction. When you got through their music, the lyrics of other rappers seem to be so simple then lol.
