Jun 14, 2015 The thing is we've come to see it as something so bad, and it is because society makes us go through monogamy so when you're betrayed by your partner it hurts but we still have caveman instincts in us and cheating can happen to anyone. It doesn't necessarily mean you're a evil scumbag or she's a bloodsucking whor-. The cheater can be just as confused and heartbroken as the cheated. I'm sure there are plenty of guys who have a loving gf but have cheated in the heat of the moment and justify it with "I was drunk doesn't mean anything I still love my gf" just as there are many girls who despite loving their bf as a partner, can still be swayed sexually by a manlier man. Of course some people are just awful and s--- at holding relationships. But it can get the best of us
