Since I don't really understand rappers, I don't really care about the lyrics, they can't be terrible like 2 chainz that repeat one a
Bad line while a whole song.

But I like lyrics that sound good even if they don't make sense or I don't understand them like

It depends on the type of music the artist is trying to make. Obviously I'm not going to hold Young Thug to the same standard as Nas, just wouldn't make sense.

But the delivery helps a lot of the time of course, but people often use that as a way of describing thugs writing so I didn't want to mention that lol

His writing is so unfiltered and references so many different things (from obscure food and clothes he gives his children to every slang for a specific drug ever lmao) it's always a joy for me to listen to

I stil kinda hate the line haha but I get what you're saying. he really does have a fascinating creative process especially how he'll draw shapes instead of lyrics on a piece of paper and can make a song from that. definitely a different type of writer that takes some time to fully appreciate.
