Dec 12, 2015 Fetty was already 4 singles deep and dominating the charts. Rolling Thug out in a month or two was never an option. Definitely not an artist who can drop unannounced.
Dec 12, 2015 I honestly don't give a s--- if he's ever the biggest rapper in the world. Figuring out the best strategy for crossing over is inherently uncreative. Once the music starts getting made and released in that way, the art's gonna lose.
Dec 12, 2015 i think a lot of dudes pay attention to thug m8 fetty, post, danny brown, freddie gibbs, mac miller, future, drake, rae sremmurd, meek mill, 50 cent, lil wayne, li uzi, etc. not all of them are directly influenced by thug (some, like danny, we dont even know how he really soundsin 2015), but a lot are for sure.
Dec 16, 2015 He's gonna be the new Micheal Jackson. His vocal technique is unlike anyone else, and his catchy melodies can easily be applied to a pop format. Pair that with his dedicated marketing team and there's no stopping him. He's already crossed over with Good Times, Calling Your Name & Raw (Might Just). Good Times blew tf up and if Calling Your Name & Raw are throwaway mixtape tracks, I can see him being on top of everyone else in about 3-4 years.
Dec 16, 2015 I thought last year Thug was destined to join Cash Money & Birdman would mould another star.
Dec 17, 2015 Quoting for disclosure that I liked this post because the video is awesome, not because I agree with it
Dec 17, 2015 You're a bad person and you should feel bad Thank god I was actually a bit confused at your like TBH lmao
Dec 17, 2015 tbh I liked it before I read the post and decided to cover myself rather than be a b---- and unlike it
Dec 17, 2015 I don't know how he raps so crazy without going out of time and s---. Dude has one of the weirdest deliveries out there and never misses a beat
