So the Warriors are obviously still dominating and their chances at the record still look good, but they've yet to play the 3 other elite teams in the league which imo are the Spurs, Thunder and Cavs. That changes on christmas when they play the cavs, they don't play the Spurs until a month later on January 25th.

It'll be interesting to see how those match ups go, I'm curious to see the Spurs and Thunder match ups especially, I think those 2 teams are better than Cleveland.

We really need to get that spurs/warriors series this year hopefully with both teams at full strength, sucks we missed out on it last year.

As great as the Warriors are this year, I'd still take the Spurs in a 7 game series.

Spurs are pretty much just as great this year as the Warriors, both teams are undefeated at home lol. A few games difference doesn't really matter at this point of the season, it's who's playing the best ball in the playoffs. Plus the Spurs are still getting Aldridge in the mix, he'll only become more comfortable as the year goes on.

That series is really hard to predict cuz I feel both teams are so different, I'd definitely love to see it though.

With all that said what Golden State is doing is obviously more impressive for right now though, and they may end up having the best regular season in NBA history.

i think the only thing that could stand in the way of a warriors-spurs west final and then a warriors/spurs-cavs final is okc beating one of the teams in the second round.

Agree 100%. OKC is sort of like the Bulls. At their best they're 2 of the 3-4 best teams in the league but lack the game to game consistency of the Spurs & Warriors.

So now that we're nearing the stretch run, how do you guys feel about this?

I still think they'll get the record although I do have doubts, they've had games lately where they've been behind for half or more of the game then won it late, that won't always work. Plus it remains to be seen how they'll handle the final games once they clinch the #1 seed.

They definitely have their eye on the record. But it would be best to rest and condition their players for the playoffs, which they should priorities in.

I think theyll end up getting the record but I'd like to see them lose a few games soon so it makes it more interesting. I'd like to see it done on one of the last games for dramatic purposes.

I don't feel they should rest their players. You have a shot at history. Go for it. There's no guarantee they'll win the finals whether they rest or not so just go for history I say.

Disagree. Winning 73 games would still be a historic achievement that may never be touched. If they win the finals on top if it you have an argument for the most dominated NBA season in history by a team. They could rest their players and then lose in the playoffs of finals or win it. We don't know yet. That's why I would say f--- if and go for 73.
